I did a booking through booking.com with Free cancelation. The hotel charged me the full amount on the free cancelation period. I decided to cancel my booking still on free cancelation time and after a month waiting for the reimburse I still haven't got the money back. I have tried to solve this issue sending emails (not a single replay) and calling directly the property but they always answer they cannot help because they are not inside the hotel and call tomorrow again. I've also tried to fix the issue through booking.com but they did not solve the problem yet.

The Hotel was in the Medina, have a Best Rooftop view to enjoy a sunset in Chefchaouen, the receptionist also nice and helpful, walking distance to the city center and to the medina, will recommend to stay here if you looking place to stay in Chefchaouen

We had to catch a bus early in the morning, so we booked this place due to its proximity to the CTM station (it's right across the station, west of it). It takes approximately 10-15 min walking uphill to reach the entrance to medina. Room was spacious and clean, bed was comfortable. There are two lovely terraces with wonderful view, plus the rooftop with great 360 view to the city and the mountains. I didn't like the fact it's a cash only, cause go the fact that on the website I did the booking it stated card payment was a possibility (that was part of the reason I booked room at this place).

Our taxi driver picked us up in Tangier, Morocco at 11 AM. At 01:25 PM we arrived at Casa Annasr. A very grumpy and ill tempered hotel manager said that we were not registered. And that his hotel was fully booked. He pretended to look for us in his computer but said that he could not find us. Our taxi driver was about to drive back to Tangier but we pleaded with him to stay. It took us some time to find the reservation and the confirmation from Hotels.com. When we found it, he suddenly also found us in his system and accused us of having cancelled our stay. We could tell he was overbooked, a large number of Chinese arrived – and he sent them further in a couple of vehicles…. It was Easter and all the hotels in this village were full. We were in the middle of nowhere. We had to take the taxi right back to Tangier. A total of 5 1/2 hour in the cab that same day. It was only by luck we found one room available in Tangier. An experience you never saw coming!…

We stayed here for one night at the beginning of our trip in Morocco and were very pleased. The facilities are clean, the staff is extremely friendly and the whole place has a great mixed Moroccan/European style. Mohammad, the young man at the front desk, was very kind and got us tea and water upon arrival. Our room was very pretty and the wifi is very fast (and free). As it was January in the mountains, it was cold at night. But there were plenty of blankets to keep us warm! My only advice is to be aware that they are CASH only- no credit cards, and that there is limited hot water in the shower. Would absolutely stay again!
