Frustratingly I have just lost the glowing review that I painstakingly wrote for this beautiful little hotel in the 💓 of Chefchaouen. You can not go wrong if you stay here in suites H9 or H10 which are clean, bright, spacious with private terraces. We loved it! Breakfast was excellent, beds comfortable & staff friendly & knowledgeable. We were given brilliant restaurant recommendations, Bab Ssour in particular & helpful advice on local walks. Definitely recommend you to stay at Casa Perleta!
We stayed in room 10 for 2 nights in Feb 2020. Our room was very spacious and had a private terrace with an awesome view of the city and mountains. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and picturesque. We had breakfast each morning on the rooftop terrace, which was so gorgeous, and the food was delicious and plentiful! Service was excellent. The staff always gave us great recommendations for lunch and dinner locations. There is free wifi. The rooms are clean and have AC and heat. The location is great for exploring Chefchaouen! Highly recommend!
The hotel is located right in the medina area, hence easy to explore by walk. The room was clean and neat with all facilities. The dinner and breakfast served were sufficient and good. Staff were cordial.
I loved staying at Casa Perleta. The rooms were cute and quaint and it really gave me an authentic feel of Morocco. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The rooms were clean and lovely. The staff was so nice and had someone there to help you 24/7. We spend New Year’s Eve here and the staff set us a wonderful celebration in the hotel lobby. The breakfast was delicious and they even packed us a breakfast to go on the morning that we had an early departure. The location can’t be beat. It is walking distance to everything. You don’t need to look around for other accommodations. If it is available for the dates you need - book immediately.
We spent 3 nights in Room 8 with our 2 young daughters, and had a completely wonderful stay. The whole hotel is decorated in Chefchaouen blues, with gorgeous fabrics, paintings and furniture throughout. Room 8 is even more spacious than photos and was very comfortable for 4, with the added bonus of a terrace outside for drinking tea, eating meals, watching the sunset. Although Chefchaouen can be chilly in January, there was a/c for us to warm the room and a central heating system controlled by the hotel which was on a little in the evenings. Delicious breakfasts were served in a pretty little dining room. And as we were staying on NYE a little party with nibbles & cake was arranged for guests in the lounge which was a lovely surprise. Staff were very kind to our girls and made us all feel at home, allowing us to keep items in the fridge and helping us with transfers to the bus station. My only warning would be that the 5 dirham charge per item for laundry applies to *all* items large and small - we had quite a miscommunication where we believed 5 dirham was for large items (and that small items would be grouped into bundles for payment) this was not the case and resulted in a hefty additional charge when all our children’s socks were included! But a minor misunderstanding in an otherwise perfect stay - highly recommended. And Chefchaouen itself is absolutely worth the journey to reach 💙…
