Lonely planet definitely needs to take this place out of its recommendations. The only good thing is the decent location. The smell of horrible coming from the bathroom. Like disgusting. Our whole room was humid and smelled like a sewer. They're only other saving grace is a large tree in the court yard. Bed is hard and lumpy. They don't...

Bed was not clean, room was freezing and the chicken oustside cried EVERY MINUTE through the whole night. I coundn't sleep more than an hour. Not even cheap. The location is the only thing good enough.

Located just outside the medina, basic, clean, very reasonably priced. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again. Wifi available free throughout the hotel. Breakfast not available, but restaurant next door very good

We usually stop over in Assilah before taking the ferry back to Spain, and have yet to find our ideal 'bed-for-the-night'. The Patio de la Luna offered a comfortable option, though, with a great bar next door for an excellent early breakfast. Prices overall seem high to us, for an out-of-season seaside resort, but it's still worth the stop. The...

Simple but clean room and bathroom. Helpful staff (albeit pretty much non-English speaking). Can't beat the value and location though, it's right by the beach, the pier and the entrance into the Medina.

This hotel is located in the heart of the city and is very well-priced. it is not fancy and the bathrooms could use a little attention, but the level of service and the location combined with the price make this a must stay destination. I will absolutely stay here again - wonderful!!

I consider myself a traveler , and in all my years of traveling in several countries , and many hotels, I had never seen such a bad attitude as I saw here. Patio de la Luna made a mistake with our reservation and showed us nothing but attitude about it when we were trying to figure out what had happened....

This place was the last stop on our holiday and we were hoping for a quaint, comfortable little place with a sea view. This is a great place if you aren't planning to spend much time in the room or at the hotel. You are definitely paying for location!! It is two blocks from the pier and even closer to...

Bang opposite the entrance to Asilah's smallish medina, the Hotel Patio de la Luna is a perfect location to explore the town, port, medina and beaches from. This was our second stay at this hotel and, as the first time, we found the owner charming and helpful, the room rustic but comfortable, charming and warm and the wifi working well....

We ended up here by accident when another place had a burst water main. It is very sweet and simple, and the people are quite friendly. We had a twin room upstairs, which was clean, comfortable, and smallish. Good wifi and good hot water. The location was excellent, with sea views from a nice terrace upstairs.
