I loved this place. We had a (very basic) hut with a private bath, double bed, mosquito net, fan, front porch with 2 chairs and a table. We could see the beach and ocean from our front porch.. perfect. These huts are basic but that's what this island is about. Bring bug spray and a relaxed attitude and you will...

We arrived on the island on the first boat from kuala Besut without booking anywhere in advance and found ourselves going from place to place looking for somewhere to sleep. The island has a lot of accommodation options, but they are expensive and get booked up very quickly, so i'd recommend booking something before if you are going in High...

I was on the island just for the weekend diving so I'm just sleeping there and have only used the common toilet once as I settle all my needs at the dive shop. I find the room is OK and I love the view in the morning from the morning, palm trees and bit of the sea. It's located at...

It cost me RM70 per night and it had a private bathroom... although I soon discovered that the toilet could only be flushed by using the...

Dont get me wrong its nice to have basic stuff but paying 70 ringit for a horrible room with a mosqitonet which has just holes is not much fun. AND directly next...

We stayed in a wooden chalet with private bathroom (cold shower). It is quite old and the floor is a bit sandy, but nice to experience village style. All the basic necessity is there. It is situated at the southern part of the the Long Beach, between the Spice Diver and D' Rock Garden Hotel. The location very near to...
