The transfer from Khota Bharu to Kuala Besut by taxi went smoothly as did the boat ride on Tuna Bay’s (enclosed) speed boat to the resort. We were allocated room 18 - a standard bungalow just behind the restaurant. At first we thought it would be noisy and asked to change, but were told this was not possible as the...

I think this place may be okay for families. There's a lot of noisy kids everywhere - the beach, the dining area, everywhere! Not very relaxing. Couples expecting a romantic and relaxing time should really stay somewhere else. Very expensive, but basic rooms. They are small, somewhat clean, and everything works. Extremely hard bed! They cleaned the room very late....

We came to Tuna Bay in a group of 8, 4 adults and 4 teenagers. We all had an incredible holiday at this great, low key resort with everything you need to have a relaxing and adventurous holiday. We took our shoes off when we arrived and didn't put them on again until we left. 5 days was good but...

We stayed at Tuna Bay for a week in July. We are a family with 2 teenagers. We spent the week diving with Universal Divers who were great. The resort was nice, clean and comfortable. We ate at Tuna Bay every day except one when we tried another place but the food was not as good. You may pay a...

A great option, lovely resort and staff. This place ticks all the boxes at a reasonable price. Great rooms and very clean / comfortable (and quiet) The staff are very friendly and efficient, trips offered are good and the food is just incredible. Best part is even though it is a “resort” all food and drink is very well priced,...

We stayed at Tuna Bay from 28 Jun to 30 Jun, one hillside room with full board package (3days/2nites) for 2 persons, one seafront room with b/f for myself and husband. We should stay longer cos definitely not enough. Warm welcome and good arrangement. Everyone is nice in Tuna Bay, from housekeeping to all staff. Very helpful staff. Thank you...

We stayed at the Tuna Bay for 12 nights and really enjoyed the resort and the whole island. The service was ok almost all the time except at times (7 pm -8 pm) the restaurant was pretty crowded. We had a superior seaview deluxe room which was really clean and comfortable. If there was a TV/DVD-player in the room, it...

Was expecting somewhere a bit more peaceful and relaxing. In reality it is a lot of people squeezed into quite a small physical area, not a lot of space, lots of noisy kids etc. At meal times the restaurant gets quite packed. The other thing I didn't like was there was a rule that everyone had to take their shoes...
