It was one of the affordable hotels we found on the island and the size of our room was ok - we even had a nice balcony. Unfortunately it was not clean - especially the bathroom was a bit disgusting. There is a beach right at the hotel area which is ok for sitting there for an hour but definitely...

Hardly "New" Cocohut as we stayed there 10 years ago. However they have modernised all chalets and also have a new block. Try to avoid July/August because the islands and New Cocohut just full of people. Better in May! Excellent restaurant (very good value) on the terrace overlooking the sea and Island of Kecil on the other side of the...

Lovely beachfront location and relaxed atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff and good local food. Accommodation was clean and basic. Simple facilities, AC, fan, fridge, bathroom, beds - not much else needed. Lovely to have balcony overlooking stunning beach.

We stayed at a room of Cocohut(not Cozy) with a rusty refrigerator, other mostly old facilities and smell of mold. There is no electric kettle, no safe box, no free bottle water but ants everywhere. Be very careful of food storage. The ants found my candies even I hang them with a plastic bag in the wardrobe! The A/C is...

Very easy organized transportation to the jetty and with private speedboat to the front of the resort. But that was it.. The beach wasn't particularly good, but go a few meters over to Abdul's chalets. The beach there is great. This review is not for the bungalows on the beach, which seems to be newer and at a higher standard,...

- Freindly staff and very helping: We went there without booking in advance, they showed us the available rooms and rates, we've chosen a sea view one and added 2 more nights at the end because we loved the island and the hotel. - Restaurant is serving fresh food in breakfast and dinner. - I recommend New cocohut! - For...

This is where you need to get a sea view room. It is a little bit more expensive, but sooo worth it compared to the garden ones. The chalets in the back have no view if you get the ones right behind the front ones - and they are too warm to sit on in the afternoon. The beach in...

Stayed in a chalet with best friend and our daughters. The part of the island we stayed on had no cars or bikes so all transport is by boat which is fascinating, a busy waterway in front of the island much of the day, even bartering the fish for the restaurant was done right on the beach from another boat!! We...
