We've booked our room 3 months ago, but once there, our room was not available. It was the first problem... So finally they gave us 2 beds on the dorms (but for the same price 40 RM/person). We've spent the worst night of our trip: our beds were completely wet and also, there were no water at night and until...

We enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean. The staff was kind and easy going, but a bit distracted. There are plenty of mosquitos as it is next to the jungle (: The bar was closed when we were there so it was very quit. I heard it was more lively earlier when the bar was open. Maybe it...

Stayed in a double-room at this place. First impression was not to bad even all chairs/sun beds were broken, the bath room most probably havent been cleaned for a long time (really bad smell) and the room was quite dirty. The room was not inviting at all, lack of furniture to store stuff and just not worth the money. The...

We stayed there for almost a week. The longhouse is a nice building at the very end of the island. The two "managers" Happy & Sha were fun company. The beach is very beautiful and the resort area is under pslm trees. Especially during the day it was nice and sort of cool. The restsurant is not existing and the...

its a longhouse -> 1 house in which everybody sleeps. no real privacy as everything is out of wood and there are no real walls. it's pretty dirty (bathrooms) and the matraces are bad. HOWEVER: the host and the people are incredibly awesome and real. the food is delicious and there is a real vibe to this place: the vibe...

We paid very little money for such a great location, 35 RM each for a double room. You get exactly what 8€ can buy, which is a bed. The accommodation is not terrible, but I wasn't expecting more for that amount of money that's why I wasn't disappointed with my decision at the end. The double room was ok, the...

I really am keen on Captain's Longhouse. It is definitely meant for a younger, crowd on a tight budget, but that is not code for "cheap" or "dirty." In fact, Captain's is quite clean and the beds are cozy. Dorm beds run around 30 RM a night. The best part of Captains is that t is on it's own corner...

This was the most I've shelled out for a hotel room in Malaysia and was really disappointed with what my money got me. I paid 70RM for a small room with a rubbish mosquito net. The rooms also open up at the top onto the dorms and other rooms so you can hear people very clearly and if they wished...

It is a really nice hostel on the small charming island of Kapas. Dormitory for 30rm or a room for 70rm. This longhouse is extremely well decorated, clean and confortable. Beautiful terrace and clean shady garden with plenty of couches, armchairs, hammocks. You can spend the day easily swimming in the clear water and relaxing under coconut trees. Cayaks available...

The captains longhouse is styled after the longhouses of borneo. It has 8 rooms ( sleeps 2-3 people each ) and a dorm which sleeps about 12 people. There are also 3 beds on the verandah. It costs rm30 per head in the dorm, and rm35 per head in the rooms (min 2 people per room). Cheap for the lovely...
