Reviewed yesterday NEW

Firstly, a good hotel for a stopover and value for money in every sense. Variety of food and beverages served at breakfast, good hospitality and clean room. I can't complain except that sounds from nearby bar or disco outlet nearby at night disturb our resting mood. It's advisable to get uppermost room. Others are pretty ok. We had a pleasant... More

Decided to revisit to Imperial Palace Hotel after a long time with few friends. Nothing much changes and still well-maintained. (tips: make sure you got a correct hotel because they now had 2 different hotel; Imperial hotel old wing, imperial hotel new wing and imperial palace hotel. Don't get confused) Check-in with a male receptionist by the name raymond (if... More

Good location, clean rooms. Breakfast spread is ok, and the waiter, a young man, was very helpful. Service oriented with a smile. Close to city center, with good restaurants close by. We requested an extra bed upon arrival, and was arranged promptly.

Buffet breakfast has lots of varities and tasty too :) Swimming pool was a bit small but we had a good time since we were the only guests who are using it. Massage shops and local eateries are walking distance from the hotel's backdoor.

Nice hotel with all necessary basic needs and reasonable price. Great location as there are many places for food and supermarket within walking distance. Not far from airport (about 20 minutes drive) and city centre (about 5 minutes drive)

Just to remind you there are 2 Imperial Hotel in Miri, one is near the mall and the other is this which is near Grand Palace Hotel. Anyway, this hotel has decent rooms with decent rates. Very good service from the receptionist to the concierge. Breakfast is good enough nothing fancy. For the price is worth it.

Courteous staff. A little wrinkle about paying cash deposit after making payment online by a guy at the desk was quickly sorted out by the manager. Good food at the restaurant too. Not too far from some good shopping locations. Easy and affordable to move around by taxi.

This is quite a large hotel centrally located in Miri and easy to get to from the airport. The reception staff are welcoming and efficient. The rooms are quite small but adequate for the average business traveler with all the usual facilities. There was no mini-bar and I do not know if it can be requested because I didn't! The... More
