This place is paradise. 3 days was not enough and we wished we had stayed longer. Everything from the rooms (with a stunning balcony view) to the food was divine. Being vegetarians, we were a little anxious about our options, but the chef was amazing and even cooked specific dishes as per our request :) The rooms are very spacious...

I stayed here for 3 nights and it was very good. Big chalet with an amazing terrace facing the ocean. Water is clear and there's plenty of fish. I attened a baby turtle release twice in 3 days(!!!) The staff is very serviceminded and makes you feel very welcome on this island. I can truly recommend this place.

We had a beautiful stay on Lankayan Island (despite the not so great weather!). Beautiful and well maintained island. Lovely staff. We stayed in chalet 26 which was more remote at the end of the resort and beautiful with the stilts over the sea. All chalets face the sea and are in a line with each other but feel very...

If you want remote, stunning location, great food then yes. But for these prices I expect something more. Don't get me wrong, I loved it here but 1, the bungalows lacked a little finesse. It needs a little TLC to bring it up to the similar standard of say the Kinabantagan Wetlands Resorts which beats this place hands down. Be...

The boat ride at 10 AM will take you 1.5 hours from the jetty, and upon arrival you are given an orientation of the resort. The island is basically made up of the dive centre (over water), main dining hall / reception (over water), turtle hatchery centre, chalets and the encircling beach. The island is a nesting spot for green...

We visited Lankayan in August primarily to scuba dive. The diving was good, but the visibility was poor. For divers, Sipidan is much much better. The property and beach around Lankayan is beautiful and peaceful; however, the chalets are basic and not well cleaned. We had an enjoyable time, but it would have been much better with better accommodations. The...

If you're expecting, a great, possibly unique location in a protected marine conservation zone (Sugud Islands Marine Conservation Area), real relaxation, friendly, approachable, helpful but not intrusive staff, an arguably second to none turtle conservation programme with a dedicated team, possibly once in a lifetime turtle observation experiences and very limited wifi/phone access (a big plus) ... you will be making...

The resort at Lankayan Island was really beautiful with good facilities, good food and very nice service. Lankayan resort is a great place to relax and no-divers will have a lot of opportunities for snorkelling. Possibility to watch turtles nesting and hatching to create a unforgettable memories. We really did have the best time and would love to return in the...

This place is pretty amazing. And at least in my circle of travellers not many people know about it. Not even on the radar. But it ought to be. The lodging is great. Although to the builders why would you not put doors on the toilets. If you're not close with the person you're rooming with you will be in...

You need to be clear about what you want from a holiday when visiting this island. If you value spas, pampering and massages please go elsewhere. Lankayan island is about far more important things such as diving, snorkelling and, most important, turtle conservation. It is, quite simply, absolutely beautiful. We were there for 3 nights and were a little concerned...
