We were booked into the Sabah hotel as part of a tour. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised after having stayed in some other hotels that did not look as nice on first glance. We were really pleased and started looking forward to our stay. We had a nice evening after dinner in the cafe and went to bed ready...

Cozy room, comfortable bed and good room facilities. The location of the hotel adjacent to the forest made the stay unique. The swimming pool was great and food above average. Staff was helpful and friendly as well. Language was not a problem as the staff spoke good English. This hotel would suit a family with young children.

Sabah hotel looks like to be in the middle of the jungle. Nice, big rooms. Friendly staff. The big swimming pool seems to belong only to kids. Mums and dads did not go in the water. As an adult it felt as a shame to go in the water. Pity. The hotel restaurant is good.

My partner and I stayed here a few nights only because the original hotel we wanted was booked - and we were SO glad we came to Sabah Hotel! It was fantastic value for what we got, and the pool area was just fantastic. Some parts of the centre are outdated, but for what we paid we were so impressed....

The food is comparing to malay food, realy tasteless. If you want a nice dip in the pool, make sure you hurry! Because after a long day sight seeing the pool is closed! If you want laundry service, make sure you have a big wallet . 63 euro for a bag of laundry. Shortly the prices are not comparent to...

Rooms comfortable, and clean, a little outdated. The pool is lovely. The tennis court area at the back is overgrown, poorly maintained and not usable. Surroundings and setting generally good. Staff are very friendly and helpful. My husband celebrated his birthday whilst we were there, and they made the evening dining experience personal in the resteraunt. Easy access to Sepilok via...

Very friendly and helpful staff. The room we were allocated this time was smelling a bit musky. We had stayed in this hotel a few times when visiting friends over the years. We were quite sadden to see the place a bit run down as compare to previous visits. Everything else is still great, lush green surrounding, tranquil and a...

The setting for the Sabah hotel is stunning , it is surrounded by trees , palms and forest . The swimming pool is open till 8 pm at night , which is good when you get back after doing tours as you can jump in the pool . The breakfast was great with a vast selection and the staff were...

Our experience with this hotel is limited--we only were there for about 2 hours, eating lunch after getting off a boat that brought us from the jungle to Sandakan on the way to the airport. The lunch was great; the setting even better--you can sit inside or outside, net to the pool with a waterfall. Very nice buffet. Note that...

An amazing hotel that would suit family holidays or singles. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. My husband was not well and they helped organise a taxi to the pharmacy as well as anything else we needed. The meals were good and everything was clean and tidy. The swimming pool was huge, clean and a delight to be...
