My family of 5 spent 2 nights here in the Pitta Lodge and we enjoyed our time in Sepilok. All the key attractions (Orangutan, Sun Bear and the Rainforest Discovery Centre) are all less than 5 minutes drive from Sepilok B&B. Very nice experience to wake up and see the natural beauty from your balcony. You feel that you are...

Stayed here for a couple of nights since it is where my master's program was meeting for our Borneo course. The location was ideal as it is near three tour attractions, the Borneo Sun Bear Conservation Center, the Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre, and the Rainforest Discovery Center. The service was okay, had to wait for someone to realize I was...

Very good hotel although I feel I drew the short straw with my room as it was one of the worst they offered. Despite this the room was very good with air conditioning. When I stayed there the wifi did not work. The food was ok at best but the reception was a great place to hang out and play...

We stayed here for one night before we went on a trip with uncle tans! The staff were a little hit and miss and spent a lot of time on their phones, you were sometimes made to feel like you were inconveniencing them! We arrived at around 2pm after a five hour bus ride from mount Kinabalu so we were...

We stayed in a private room that was basic but clean and reasonably priced. The included breakfast was good and the staff provided very good service during our stay. They are building new units at the rear of the property and some are already completed. They are located within waliking distance of the RDC, The Orang utan sanctuary and the...

We enjoyed staying in the Pitta lodge because of the peaceful location, good television and cooking facilities + fridge. It's a two bedroom lodge with one common living room/kitchen/balcony. Because we shared it with friends, it was ok. It's convenient for a family but way overpriced considering breakfast is too basic. Tried restaurant food once but very bad quality so...

What a lovely spot! We stayed as a group of 3 adults and 20 kids and had the whole of the Hornbeam House to ourselves. The grounds are lovely, full of birds and butterflies and very peaceful, good for stargazing too! The rooms are excellent, they are clean with air con and a fan and even HOT water showers :-)...

What I love about this place in the atmosphere. In the morning you wake up and it's quiet, except for the birds singing. You are surrounded by trees and it's all green. At night it's dark and you hear the animals in the jungle. The only place with some human life is the restaurants, where the friendly staff serves simple...

A group of school kids and I stayer here for 8 nights while doing a volunteer project at the Sun Bear Sanctuary down the road. The staff were wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We stayed in first lodge. It was a little dates but still very clean and comfortable. Meals were well priced and the breakfast buffet always...
