It is very far away from everywhere but a perfect place to dive. You can make most beautiful dives of your life and never forget. You can dive all the time you want and you can make unlimited dives in the price. Even not scuba just snorkeling is amazing too. It is just middle of the sea and there is...

We came to Kapalai for the famous diving spot Sipadan. I enjoyed diving a lot here coz you can rest on the land. As I have serious sea sickness, it's a very nice arrangement. The underwater life was amazing. We have bought a video from them, a professional underwater video capturing our dives. You can ask the photographer to capture...

This is a very special experience to stay in Kapalai for 6 days. You have nowhere to go but staying in this area. 4 dives a day, 2 days to dive in Sipadan island, purely dive, eat, sleep experience during your stay. The entire buildings are built on the water, the ocean is your balcony. Seawater is right below your...

I stayed here with my friends, who are all experienced divers. The resort is very basic. I would say a 3 star resort. The food is all Asian and not of very good quality. The dive school is very good there. The staff are friendly and shows professionalism. We all had some great dives there. Especially in Sipadan. They don't...

To me, Kapalai is in the midst of an identy crisis. It is not quite a luxury resort, not quite a dive resort, and appears to have changed greatly over the years. By and large, this place caters to the mainland Chinese, who wish to snorkel. The food is okay, but almost completely Asian. Not much choice and plenty of...

If you are a scuba diver then you probably already know all about Sipadan Island and the awesome diving. If you don't, google it. What this resort offers on top of the outstanding location is: 1) The slickest dive operation I have seen, organised, good gear, on time, great dive guides (Thanks Leo and Linda) and terrific boat skippers; 2)...

We stayed 3 nights at Kapalai with 1 day diving at Sipadan. Diving at Sipadan was our highlight and the dive center team, particularly Don, was extremely helpful and we felt safe at all times. The resort is beautiful, but we did wonder what other guests do all day if they do not dive as there is no TV in...

We went there for a 5 days 4 nights diving holiday. We new its a great place for diving as one of our family members has been there earlier in the year. Our expectations regarding the diving were fully met. We even took a 3 day Advanced Padi Open Water Diving Course. For an extra 1'000 Ringgit (USD 250) very...
