We stayed at the lodge for 6 nights having completed a charity trek across Madagascar for a well deserved rest,we were not disappointed. The owner was very engaging & helpful during our stay together with a very good compliment of staff including,Hary-Lanto, Marlowe, Annie,Tiana,Mandimby,Emilien,Jeannot,Mariana,Nadege,Leon,to name but a few their service was faultless. The hotel is well situated close to the...

The hotel has nice bungalows that iare clean and spacious. But the best thing about them is definately the beach view and the cozy architechture that gives an island atmosphere. The food in the restaurant is brilliant and the restaurant/pool area is great both at night and during the day. The hotel supports research in the coral reefs and snorkeling...

What a wonderful place! The hotel is close to the airport so the transfers are very quick but there are only a couple of flights a day so the incoming planes are completely unobtrusive. The place is extremely efficiently run and the villas are delightful. The food (mostly cooked fresh in a wood-fired bread oven) is superb and a nice...

The hotel is very clean (not like many others in Madagascar). The dinner was perfect and portions are quite big. The breakfast is buffet, food was very fresh and tasty but the choice is not so big. No oats or cornflakes, mostly bread, pastry, eggs and pancakes. The bungalows are located few steps from the beach, bungalow has hammock for...

We stayed here with our children and had a wonderful time. The setting of the hotel is beautiful, nice gardens, white sandy beach and the rooms are detached colonial houses in a quiet setting underneath the palm trees. The tastefully decorated restaurant serves good food and has a nice and relaxed atmosphere, big fireplace, very special rum cabinet (all new...

A great place to relax at a beach resort at the end of a trip to Madagascar. Our lodge was mid-range and close to the beach. We didn't use the spa, but did do some of the optional excursions with some very nice guides. Majority of staff were attentive. They arranged a special table for a candlelit dinner on the...

The Island of Sainte Marie is beautiful. The beach is so quiet and relaxing - just what we needed after 10 days of travelling around Madagascar! We stayed in a charme villa - the cheapest- which was lovely and comfortable with a very comfy hammock on the verandah. We didn't feel we needed to pay any more for a better...

Good food but very limited choice. 2 options of starter and main if you don't like that the only option is pizza. Portions are small. (I lost 3Lbs on holiday and I was drinking loads of alcohol!!) Wine cellar and rum cellar AMAZING though a bit pricey - well worth it though. Whale watching is amazing and the dive school...
