Maili Saba is in Nakuru and nested on edge of the Menengai Crater with breathtaking views of the same. It embodies African simplicity with a rustic by design decor and set up. Accommodates a maximum of 20 people so privacy is guaranteed. Great steak for dinner. The rooms are basic by design but located to ensure you have spectacular views...

Cosy tents, friendly and competent staff, good food, warm atmosphere to make up for the cold and crispy air, and the view on the lava flows of the Menengai crater is stunning. Try to get there before sunset to enjoy the sight! Best of all, no sounds of passing trucks and hooting matatus, only bird songs at sunrise.

Its amazing how lovely and friendly is the staff. The rooms are very clean and big. They have great restaurant, swimming pool and perfect views of the crater. So paceful... And the food! You won't find anything like this in Nakuru, I loved it!! I recommend visiting it, knowing also that is runned by an NGO (Ujima Foundation). It was...

Maili Saba camp is located in a beautiful spot, just on the edge of an impressive volcano crater. The safari tents have basic en suite bathrooms, some have verandas overlooking the crater. Staff are tremendously friendly and helpful, and the food served in the cozy lapa (by an even more cozy fireplace) is excellent, though more rustique farm kinda meals...

Maili Saba is a lodge with an extra social dimension. It offers training and employment to local orphans with a responsibility to younger brothers and sisters. All profit is used to sponsor education projects. Maili Saba has a very friendly staff and offers a splendid location at the edge of the Menegai Crater. One of the latest craters in the...

The tents/cottages are clean, the food is fresh and delicious and the best asset is the staff, Lilian and Cecilia are very friendly and competent and make you feel very welcome. The view of menegai crater here is amazing, its on top of the cliff. Tents are becoming run down and there were no mosquito nets, the staff were wonderful with children. Food is standard safari camp food.

Our second stay, still delightful. Sour dough bread delicious. Need more wines though. Also they provide the best picnic hamper of any place I have stayed. Homemade soup was Excellent! Good selection of food, not the standard chicken leg and boiled egg!

We arrived on friday 12th Feb . It was late afternoon and we greeted with such warmth and welcome. We even had our lunch even though it was late for the chef but it was no problem . The tents are fully catered for your needs with toilet, electricity and clean towels and bedding. Sometimes the water did not heat...
