The camp is off the main road so you don't hear any passing cars. Stayed one night; very friendly welcome by staff who served us Bedouin tea on our arrival; stayed in a VIP tent with its own ensuite; hot inside the tent when we arrived but by the time lights went out at about 10.30 the tent had cooled...

We had a good experience overall in this camp at Wadi Rum. It is certainly pretty basic, but that's what you would expect if you are staying in a tent in the desert. The room was clean, showers were hot and dinner was delicious. And the 3 hour Jeep ride was amazing. It is definitely a must-do. As other reviewers...

The camp is in a great location, staff very friendly but the usual problems you get everywhere in Jordan it's the ridiculously loud music so you can't enjoy desert solitude going on until 10.30pm and also the camp entertaining 50 local school children which made the camp bedlam it was like staying at Butlins not the desert, it's also way...

I have tried other camps in Wadi Rum and they give a more real cultural experience, but booked this because we had a few in the group who hate camping and roughing it!! We weren't disappointed on that front - the VIP tents were very clean and comfortable with ensuites. We booked a 4x4 safari and sunrise camel rides, which...

This camp is further into Wadi Rum (rather than near the main road) so you get a more remote experience. I'm glad we stayed there. We paid extra for the VIP tent with private room. There were 4 of us, we had a suite with 2 rooms sharing a bathroom and common entrance. All the food was excellent, our jeep...

Rahayeb is about 30 minutes into the Wadi from the main street, nestled in a small nook admist the rocky valley structures. We loved staying here. It is very easy to walk up to sun rise, sun set points in the valley. We enjoyed the 4*4 ride in the valley and the dunes. Its a very family like atmosphere at...

We were traveling in Jordan with 2 kids and wanted to "camp" for 1 night. My husband hates camping, and Raheyeb looked decent. And it was. We hiked, climbed rocks, the kids played in the dunes, and we rode camels. The dinner was quite good, although breakfast was somewhat lacking. As we had the kids (and my camping adverse husband),...

Our trip by jeep into the desert was an outstanding experience. Our guide was terrific and organised a home cooked lunch eaten in a beautifully secluded desert location. He was knowledgable and friendly. I would give this experience 5 stars Camp was another story. The dinner was tasty but everyone smoking around us was not pleasant. Breakfast is awful My...

I stayed at this camp on March 4, 2015 with my husband. I was expecting to experience something different; I just didn't know it would also be comfortable. The buffet dinner was excellent; our hosts were hospitable with good humor and they were patient in dealing with the 6 different nationalities who stayed at the camp that night. Not all...
