Our stay began when our host neglected to mention on the phone that we could not enter the camp ground until it was almost dark (we came with seven young children and wanted to be a bit settled before dark). Information that we were given over the phone was incorrect. Our family was split up randomly at the campsite and they refused to move us to empty tents. One tent was near the bathroom and reeked of sewage. The sheets we slept on were dirty and sticky. There were definitely not enough toilets and showers to accomodate guests. Upon leaving we requested that the charge be split between my credit card and my husband's credit card only to find out later that they put the charge on only one credit card. The only thing that was pleasant about this place was the view. I would not recomment this place to anyone, especially not to a family. Btw, no health regulations were kept AT ALL!…
חוויה מצויינת. אחלה וויב, שירות מהמם. אם לברוח למדבר אז לגמרי לשם. קרוב למצפה ולאופציות לטיולים באזור. הבעלים מקסים וקיבל אותנו באחלה חיוך. Great experience, great service. If you run to the desert then completely there. Close to the Mizpe Ramon and options for trips in the area. The owner is lovely and received us with a nice smile. !recommended
Beautiful place with Dror, the lovely owner who helped reach maximum chill in minimum time. A breath of (warm) fresh air, some unplugging (electricity-less) and a few minutes drive from Ramon Crater. Highly recommended!
Silent Arrow is just outside the town, perched on the edge of the desert. Eight of us stayed in a basic tent with shared communal areas. If you like basic then this is perfect for something a little bit different. A peaceful site, well looked after, with decent enough bathroom facilities. The main communal area was good for meeting other travellers, but at night the lighting was just too dim for playing cards or reading! The stars were out and it was fun to get the kids into the desert on a mini night time adventure. Staff were unobtrusive, leaving us to get on with our stay. It is a bit disconcerting for card payment to be made behind a closed door and no receipt given. Transparency is needed here, and when told this the reaction was that this was not the first time a guest had said so. So stop doing it??? Overall, a lovely place, not bedazzled by value for money or customer service though (heater broken in communal area and still 50NIS for firewood).…
It is a camping site in the desert. The location is great- peaceful and quite but still near enough to facilities. You need to arrive ready with flashlight and warm cloths to enjoy the place. We had our own private room and it was great, clean, warn enough, and quiet. It is clear that a lot of effort been invested in making this place nice. The eco-friendly atmosphere is really nice and we are very supportive. There are three changed we would recommend: 1. having more solar light in the kitchen and shower - it is very hard to cook and clean in the dark (even with flash lights) 2. more toilet facilities separated from the showers, it would solve the lines in the morning. 3. some cold-fridge (maybe ice-based if electricity is not an option) as all the food gets off fast in the dessert. out on ice-last for limited time.…
