Technically it's not I the middle of nowhere it's just of the main road so you can always see the car lights, but in saying that the view of the stars from the roof at night is lovely. The staff were a little strange here there is no interaction with them at all. The food was good though dinner was...

The cordial welcome by the staff was really assuring -- important when you arrive in a sort of place you are totally not familiar with. The rooms are very sparingly furnished, but adequate (no in-room toilet/bath available as far as I know). Shared toilet/bathroom was reasonably clean (a bit dark). The meals (dinner and breakfast) were ample and quite tasty.

Beautifully restored caravanserai in the middle of the desert. We stayed here for one night, the staff are very helpful, food is great (they cook one dish for everyone). You get to experience staying at a caravanserai very similar to how it was centuries ago. You will be sleeping in a common half (you will get a wooden pod, with...

This shouldn't be seen as a stop over but as a destination in itself. There are no private bathrooms and the facilities are pretty basic. But the place is right out of a movie set- except its real. The food is outstanding and make sure you get up early in the morning or in the evening to catch the sunrise...

Simply amazing! Being a basic place, the place has all the things you need to a great experience. Even the food, probably the weak point in Iran, was tasty and good. The staff also is so friendly. Absolutelly recommended!!

Stayed the night on our from Yazd to Shiraz. Enjoyed it very much as it's not everyday you get to spend the night in the desert. However, unless you're a heavy sleeper, I would recommend bringing earplugs because you may be surrounded by very loud snorers (which was in my case!). I'd no earplugs but my ipod kept the noise...

An interesting place, beautifully laid out with bedrooms around the central courtyard, also other simpler sleeping areas off the courtyard. An interesting insight into how early people travelled - but of course we were doing it in style! A large dining area is to the rear with an excellent buffet of hot and cold dishes. This is not the place...

We just stopped there on our way and didn’t stay for night but paying a short visit everywhere I fell in love with the place. The rooms and halls were cozy and peaceful also clean and tidy. And everything was designed like you can feel how Iranian people lived hundred years ago. So it’s not as comfortable as a hotel...

Stayed here for one night, and loved it Very authentic feeling, the desert all around, the open roof. It really helps set the mood for thinking about the Silk Road. Nice hot showers, and the beds are pretty comfy, just if you are senstive to hard beds, I would bring something to use as padding

Wow, we loved the place, its a historical old caravansary which is renovated in a great way. Has a nice cafe. Mattresses, bathrooms, everyrhing was so clean. Just notice it's on old caravansary, meaning shower and bathrooms are shared.
