I spent 7 days in Rainhouse; I felt the sense of being in my own home That was memorable. Rain house is a cozy hostel in the heart of the old district of Yazd city. Its cafe is located on the roof and the view is magnificent most of the historical attractions such as the Yazd Jame Mosque are visible. You can access lots of attraction in less than 10 mins. About food, I can say it was good and also the price was reasonable. The most interesting thing was the friendly behavior of all staff and the owner Mr. Mehdinejad and his family who were helpful and honest additionally they consider tourists as their guests, not just a customer. I experienced living in a traditional and beautiful house with authentic architecture and made good friends.

I tried many traditional hotels in Yazd but I highly believe Rain house is the nicest among them. It is located at the heart of the historical old city of Yazd which makes it even better (very close to the monuments).
Staff are adorable , the foods are delicious, the atmosphere so nice, the owner is super friendly. We were lucky to find this place on Thursday on 30th January.

Rain house is absolutely superb, the staffs are friendly, helpful, full of local knowledge. Anyone who has been to Rain house will tell you that the sunsets here are sensational.you can't miss the stunning sunset! So, Be sure to bring a camera with you.
Its location is in the heart of Yazd historic sites and it's an easy walk to get Jameh Mosque of Yazd, Amir Chakhmagh complex, Dolat Abad Garden, Alexander's Prison and etc.
The owners, Mr. Mehdinezhad and Mrs. Marjen are hospitable and very nice. Both of them are artists and you can buy handmade copper items likes utensils, tools, and jewelry from their beautiful store.
If you're a vegetarian or vegan, there are a lot of delicious, healthy and traditional foods in Rain house.

they are now my friends and I miss them so much. :)

Please be careful of some Esfahani Owners or other none-Yazdi’s owner places like this rooftop.
Mr Abbas, the owner of Rain house is a real great Yazdi man.

We were lucky to arrive just in time for the reopening of rain house after 2 months of renovation. We had dinner and drinks there, it was very delicious. We ordered the eggplant, soup and freshly squeezed mint lemonade (Mojito). When we arrived they were just baking fresh bread over a little fire, it was by far the most delicious bread I’ve had in Iran so far. The food is excellent, tastes so natural and made with love. The owners are a super friendly couple, who also happen to be artists. they showed us the main sites from their beautiful rooftop after dinner. Downstairs there is a beautiful gallery and handy craft shop, very fine works. Pity it was our last night, otherwise we would have stayed in the beautiful new guesthouse. Next time 😉

I’m traveling solo and stayed at this place through recommendation from a friend and never regret a bit. The place itself is a traditional house, it has an art house which sells very beautiful trinkets stuff, it has room for accomodation, there’s a wind catcher for you to chill out and also a cafe at the rooftop.

The view from the rooftop is the best you can get in Yazd. The best thing about this place are the owner Mr.Abbas and wife, they let me experience the Iranian hospitality in an impressive way.

Oh, the best thing is they make fresh bread right away, that is the best bread I’ve ever tasted in Iran.

I will remember and miss this place forever.
