This is a better deal than most hotels in Tabriz but that's not to say much. The wifi is quite weak, especially in rooms. They have done a good job on renovating rooms, but you still can't help feeling you're in some cheap motel. Breakfast ladies are nice enough. Staff downstairs speaks only poor English.

Excellent place but too expensive for so dirty, stinky and basic English. No toilet paper, stinky towels, dirty bad linnen. You should prefer to find an other one for the same price. Breakfast very basic. Staff note very friendly. We left after one night.

Located in the center of the town. My room (with big balcony) faced a main street but reasonably quiet. The room was simple and clean but I just had to get used to the stout toilet (since Tabriz was my first stop in Iran). The receptionist, in good manner, managed basic English. They could be helpful when I asked for...

We left after one night, room stank of cigarette smoke, cistern leaked water, cleanliness was average. Twin for irr950k during NoRuz. Breakfast average. Location fine , not far from Bazaar and other attractions .

I was desperately looking for a place to stay in Tabriz and all the usual choices were fully booked out. Apparently after Iranian currency tanked late last year, ton of people from neighboring Azerbaijan started coming here for medical tourism, so many hotels are booked out. Fortunately Kosar had a room available, it did not come too cheap - actually...

We booked it for 2 nights, but stayed only one night. It was really dirty and not at all worth the price. We went to Morvarid hotel near it, much better and much cheaper. The location is perfect, but as I said dirty and expensive in relation to quality.

I stay in a range of accommodation when I travel, from the expensive to the really cheap and I always try to assess accommodation on the merits. Basic accommodation can be really, really good but this does not apply to the Kosar. A friend and I stayed here for two nights, but only because it was on a national holiday...
