Beautiful Amulet....a 19th century Madrasah which is converted to a hotel with just 8 rooms and suited us well for a group of 14. The whole ambiance is so quaint ethnic and rustic and at the same time it has the modern comforts....good bathrooms, mattresses etc. The rooms have an ethnic touch with ikat curtains, embroidered bed covers, nice wall...

Exactly as described. Deserve all the positive reviews it was qualified with. A lovely courtyard, tastefully decorated room and an excellent level of service. Very well located and peaceful , in the heart of Bukhara . The best of all the places we stayed in Uzbekistan .

I had an excellent stay and loved the entire experience- their website is absolutely accurate. It is in a renovated ancient medrassa (Koran school) with a beautiful stonecourtyard- the rooms are not overly large but very pretty, bathrooms spotless and Western commodes- tub and shower - marble-like finishing tiles...The breakfast was heavenly- a succession of fresh courses served (not buffet)...

They have done a great job renovating this old building. It's absolutely lovely. As beautiful as the building is, the staff are even better. Breakfast in the courtyard is wonderful. As is enjoying a pot of tea after a day of exploring Bukhara. I highly recommend this hotel. Wish I could have stayed longer!

This small family - run boutique hotel is a gem in a renovated madras with the old charm intact: beautiful, intimate, nice decoration, very good location, clean with friendly service. The breakfast is also delicious. It is a good option also for solo travellers. Highly recommended.

Unique property designed in old and authentic Uzbek style combines very high level of comfort and amazing personal service. The owners and management were always there to take care of our stay. Any extras we asked were always fulfilled: tea, breakfast at the time we need, arrangements of taxi or recommendations of what to do in the city. Rooms are...

One of the best hotels and one of the former madrassa types I stayed at in Uzbekistan. Exceptionally friendly and pleasant people. I did not get names but happy to say staff typified Uzbek hospitality. This reconstructed former Madrassa of Sayid Kamol offers you typical small rooms (at least the one I was in) with low doorways which gives the...

This is a small (10 rooms) former madrassah. The hotel courtyard is beautifully decorated, as are the rooms. The breakfasts are substantial, served at the tables, with a variety of fruits, hot dishes and cold dishes. It's about a block from the beginning of the historic area, located in a residential neighbohood. Very comfortable!

My tour organizer, Advantour, booked me into this terrific little converted madrasa during my stay in Bukhara. It was such a great surprise. There were probably less than 10 rooms, all enclosed facing into a small courtyard. It felt like you stepped back in time, yet the amenities within the rooms were all up to date, clean and modern. The...
