We have visited Mount Gahinga with our young children twice over the last year (once for Christmas and once in May) and cannot recommend this place highly enough. From the moment you arrive you are welcomed and treated like royalty. The hotel itself is simple but stunning, nestled into the foothills of the volcanoes and with spacious gardens and wonderful...

I rate this place very highly. Amron is the manager. He and all his staff were most helpful and friendly. The rooms are very large, spotlessly clean with excellent facilities. I had the most comfortable bed out of 7 places in stayed while in Uganda. I was there for 3 nights and I was offered a fire in my room,...

Lodge manager Amron and all his staff were welcoming, friendly and informative. Perfect location for activities in the NP (would definitely recommend the Gahinga trek - 6 hours round trip) and great views of the Volcanoes from the lodge. Excellent food and complimentary massage! Will definitely be back.

We were the only guests during our June/July 2013 stay! As with the other three Volcanoes Safaris lodges, the accommodations and the food were very good and the staff excellent! It was chilly during our stay, so the hot water bottles in bed were greatly appreciated!

We took a couple of days off during a hectic work trip to relax at the Mt. Gahinga Lodge and to see the mountain gorillas. Ugandans are in general the friendliest people around, quick to smile and laugh, but the staff of this lodge go even above and beyond the usual Ugandan hospitality. The manager, Amron runs a top notch...
