The Canary really gives your moneys worth. The location is just outside the main drag so you will not hear all the music and parties, but you can walk there in 5 minutes. Cross the river. So you have a lovely river view and quiet time but away from the hustle and buzzle. Many different options on accomodation, depending on your budget. The only problem is no breakfast. In a beautiful tranquil nice setting like this - you would really love to enjoy a breakfast instead of hitting the busy mainsteet right away in the morning, wouldnt you ? Cause thats where you have to go, theres no restaurants around. Thats a bummer, i dont understand why they dont serve breakfast when every other accomodation around does it. Why ?

So we took the private room for 2 ppl, we had a small sitting area outside whice was lovely, the room was clean and comfortable and we had hot water it the shower. Its located on the river so you can drink your morning coffee (whice was really good) with a quiet beautiful view, yet its 5 min walk from the main street and the night bazaar which is great. The staff is so nice the helpful is was a pleasure. Thank you!

Placed at the bank of the river, it’s so quiet and easily accessible to the walking street by 3-5 minutes walk. Good food and they serve all three meals. Free tea/coffee in the reception. Hammock in front of almost all the rooms. We stayed in fan room and it’s neither noisy nor hot. Unfortunately we found this hotel after 3 days only and stayed just one night. Wish we could stay there more.

It was so much fun staying here. They're in a great location, close to the night time food market (which was amazing!) They are right on the Pai river, which makes it so peaceful. You don't hear any scooters or honking horns. The staff were wonderful people, very sweet.

First, the place had a renovation in 2018, so the photos in here are mostly not relevant :) I sell at the canary for 7 nights in their biggest suite by the river (a double bed and a single) . Pros: 1. The staff - the nicest people I’ve ever met! Pear in the reception is so sweet and helpful! Also she has a great English and a little bit of Hebrew also. 2. The location - really close enough to the night market, bar street and 7/11, and also quiet and special. 3. The atmosphere - it is really a guesthouse for every traveler the - couples, solos, friends, family! You have chill zone in the reception area, you have your own balcony if you sleep in the private rooms, you have places to sit and enjoy by the river. Good for EVERYONE! Cons: Do not do your laundry there :) Would never stay in any other place other than Canary! Thank you!

We stayed in a little cottage bungalow at canary with garden view, was super relaxing, spacious room and nice bathroom. Front porch and the free coffee and tea was great. Really relaxing place to chill out by the river, would recommend this place for your stay in Pai. Laundry is only 30baht a kilo or 65 for express. Great value for money and 5min from walking st and prempacha bus station.

Booked a double bedroom for 1 night. Extended our stay. Great location, 5 minutes walking from main road, with all amenities. In relaxed settings. Tasty breakfast (average price) by the river. Free coffee and tea all day. Very friendly staff. No aircon, but a fan and a mosquito net. Room was clean and tidy.

The hostel is great. It has several private rooms and one dormitory with 10 beds. Very simple, all bamboo and with fans. All beds have musketeers. You sleep and wake up with the sound of the river. Less than 5 minutes walk to Walking Street. And 10 from the bus station. Breakfast (paid) is a delight. There's coffee and tea for free all day. The staff is super nice.

We stayed here for two nights and we had a very pleasant stay. We had a bungalow with private bathroom and a little terrace. The room was sparkling clean. Due to its location and raining period there are quite a few mosquitos but luckily they provide a mosquito net over the bed. For a small price you can get a yummy breakfast every morning and free coffee and tea. Location is also top. The staff was really friendly and helped us with questions. If we are in Pai again we would definitely come back.
