Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Well... how to begin! We cruised by Your Resort a few times while touring around Pai on our motorbikes, and each time we drove by it caught our eye. We were "playing it by ear" in Pai, didn't know how long we'd stay, didn't know where we were staying beyond the few nights we were there already. Then on our way back into Pai "central" we decided to stop at the side of the road by Your Resort to admire the charm of it some more and wishfully think that we could afford to stay at a place like that! For fun we asked the sweet lady at the front reception shop how much it was. She immediately got the resort owner Golf, on the phone. He was friendly and said he'd hold it for us (since we weren't sure where we were staying yet), AND it was affordable! He also said we could have our pick of the bungalows, whichever one we wanted! So, we decided upon our favorite, and couldn't stop admiring the details - the view from each window, the high ceilings, the endless amount of windows and light, mountains and farm fields in the distance, and the decks, the gardens, everywhere your eyes gaze is a small work of art. GORGEOUS. The stream, the flowers, the artistic patterns in the concrete as you walk up to your little "abode". It's all in the details. You couldn't help but feel like you were in a small part of paradise. And you had it all to yourself! (No tourists a little out of town). The bed was comfortable (although still hard thai style). The next day when we woke up, the owner greeted us down by the shop, gave us some freshly milked milk from the farm next door (YUM) and invited us to come with him to try his favorite coffee place in town. Off we went on a motorbike trip and what we thought was a friendly tour, but by the time we came back later that day we had a new friend, seen many sights in Pai, and tried many delicious foods that only a local would know, and had a new appreciation for the thai way of life, appreciation for life, and a more positive open look on life! Wow. Wasn't expecting such an amazing and unforgettable experience. We had intended on staying 1 night but ended up staying 4. Your Resort is a very special place, a product of very hard work and very special people. Not to mention Golf also is a chef at a nearby sushi restaurant where we had the best sushi we've ever had and a magical experience. Your friends in Canada, -Ali and Ken

It’s difficult to describe what exactly makes this place so wonderful. Others have already described the spotlessly clean houses, the fact that there are purposely only a few houses on a large piece of land which makes it very natural and private - I won’t go into too much detail on these points.
One thing I would like to mention is the attention to detail. The construction of the houses, the type of wood selected, the presentation of the breakfast (which is brought to your door in the most charming way), everything is thought through.
One example is the position of the bed. It is constructed on a small but beautiful teak wood platform that aligns with multiple folding windows, spanning almost the entire house front - this means that you can be comfy in bed, open up a huge area right next to you, feel the night air and look out. There are almost no insects so no need to worry about that.
Comfy in bed while having all the beautiful nighttime sights and sounds that come with a direct connection with nature. Magical.
Ps: The owner takes great care to constantly improve even beyond the high level already attained - example: I’d noticed a previous review mentioned that it might be good to reduce the usage of plastic covering when bringing the breakfast - during the first breakfast, I noticed that there was no plastic being used at all. Beautifully presented in a sustainable way. He clearly reads feedback and implements it in a thoughtful and aesthetically pleasing way. Did I mention the breakfast was awesome? It really is.

Me and my girlfriend had a very pleasant stay here. It´s a 8-10min scooter drive from the city, which equals peace and quiet. It´s so beautiful to wake up with nature sounds and surroundings, and the breakfast, which is brought straight to your hut, is very nice.
The owner, Mr.Golf is as nice as they come, and was our personal tripadvisor :) Would recommend!

Your Resort is a great, quiet place to stay outside of Pai. It's situated near some rice fields in the valley, so we had great views from our porch. The wooden bungalows are very nice, well maintained and comfortable. The stone bungalows looked slightly less well maintained.

The owner and his staff will do anything to make your stay comfortable. We were picked up at night by a friend after we couldn't find a taxi. Be aware that the resort is around 5km/3miles outside of town, and that the nearby restaurants are closed in the off season.

This resort has stunning views of the valley. It has about 6 bungalows on its large piece of property, and they are nicely spaced for privacy. The resort was clean, well maintained, and a nice distance outside of Pai so that you are truly in the countryside. The lady who checked ua in and oversaw our stay was very friendly and seemed perpetually happy. When we arrived the owner wasn't there, but within 5 minutes he called and gave us a briefing on the place, along with his contact details. Each morning breakfast was brought to our bungalow. In short, we will definitely return and recommend to our other friends. The only downside is the lack of reataurant/food on site. Also, the bathrooms could be a bit brighter (maybe the ones in the others bungalows are better).

Small but peaceful and lovely garden and cottage, very close to nature. Mr. Golf, the owner of the garden is super nice and friendly gentleman. The room is cozy and clean, but with no aircon. Overally, the experience is pretty good. The location is around 10mins to the downtown by motorbike, but easy to access to town.

You can always feel so welcomed by the host Golf. Live life the way you want is truly an inspiration in my getaway in Pai. You can then go eat out by his Restaurant in Sushi Hill where you can enjoy one of the best sushi that I ever tasted.

This was our second time visiting Pai and Your Resort within 4 months of each other and the experience only gets better and better.

The resort is at one with nature and the scenery is breathtaking. A perfect place to escape the cities and be at peace.

Mr. Golf is a wonderful human being with a beautiful heart. Taking his time out each day to take his guests out for breakfast and to show them around Pai, sharing knowledge and love as he goes.

We couldn't recommend this place enough and share our experience with all the like-minded travellers we meet along the way.

Treat yourself to an experience that you will never forget. Your Resort is a hard place to walk away from.

Thanks again Mr. Golf. A friend for life.

We went there for 3 days and it was amazing. When we arrived Mr. Golf, the owner, was there to welcome us. He is so great and showed us the most beautyfull places in Pai. He told us about the culture and life of the Thai people. We stayed in a beautifull and clean bungalow with a very nice view at the mountains.
We had a great time and would recommand it to everybody who visites Pai!!
