Decent hotel, very good location compared to Pai Walking Street (only 5 mins). The hotel itself is quite outdated, and the rooms were like glass boxes with at least 5 different points to close curtains! The bathroom wasn’t too bad but the water gets scalding pretty quick. Beds were super hard and only one pillow. Pool was super aesthetic and nice but we didn’t get a chance to use it as we only stayed 2 nights!

We had a wonderful relaxing time at the Quarter Pai. We had two rooms with a shared balcony for our family - two adults and two children. The rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated and the cleaning was effective. The hotel staff were helpful - for example using the pool net to rescue a small ball that nearly got lost under the low balcony outside our room. The pool was great for the kids and we spent lots of time playing in it. There are very shallow sections at one end for younger children. The reception staff were helpful and attentive, though sometimes google translate came in handy. The hotel is a a short walk out of town (5-10 minutes from the start of the main 'walking street') and the hotel runs a shuttle which is helpful on very hot days or in the rain. There was a lot of work going on at the hotel when we were there to spruce it up after the quieter times that all of the hotels in this area have experienced. Pai itself is lovely. There are tons of lovely small cafes and little shops. Lots of activities nearby. And it's easy to get to with a 3-4 hour bus journey from Chiang Mai. The hotel breakfast was good.

What a place. Just up the road from the walking street. Close enough to stumble back drunk but far enough away to not hear the noise. Breakfast was decent, it was like sitting in on the set of jurassic park but with out the dinos. Pool was decent and the grounds were beautiful. The room was huge with a big shower room. Comfy beds and nice big thick curtains if you have a hangover day. They had a van that would take you into town if you wanted at any point in the day and you could also borrow the hotel bikes for free if you wanted to ride in.

First time in PAI, stayed two nights at the Quarters. Car parking available. Great looking hotel. Nice quiet but convenient location.Only 5+min walk to walking street night market, cafe and restaurants. Clean room with own deck looking at the inner garden. Everything is great. BUT the only disappointment were the smell from the bathroom drains was not so nice. As soon as we used the shower and hand basin, the smell started to came out. The smell would get into the bedroom, so we kept the bathroom door closed at night. Also, although WiFi was available but password given was only for the weaker hotel WiFi ( not the room WiFi). The signal was so weak that it would disconnect on its own. I trust that they will sort these issues out and I will stay give them another chance next time round.

Accomodation is more than a nice room, building and facilities. In Quarter that is quite allright. What makes a hotel is the staff. I have been in Thailand over 10 times and stayed in multiple hotels, but the most unfriendly staff you will find at the Quarter. The reception lady (?) could not smile or pay any attention to the guest. We never experienced a smile, a good morning/sawasdee or even thank you for your stay. This includes the staff of housekeeping, garden and the restaurant. Breakfast is supposed to be open until 10 a.m., but if you arrive at 9, you will find many empty dishes, empty milk can, no bread, no plates, cutlery, empty fruit baskets, and so on and even empty beer cans of the night before! Staff is not very willing to replace or clean. Too bad, as the rooms and premises have a lot of potential, but as said; staff makes the difference!

We stayed there for 1 night. Hotel was in good location, maybe 10 minutes walk to Pai Walking street. Reception was friendly, showed us to our room (Superior no-view). Room had no view as per advertised which was okay. The room was tucked in a secluded corner of the compound and quite creepy at night as the area was poorly lit. The state of the room could be a lot better. There was a big jar of stagnant water outside the room; probably for decorative purposes but fell into disuse. The windows could not close / lock properly. TV does not work. Wifi does not work; has no internet connection even though we used the user/password the reception gave us. Blood stains on the duvet was unacceptable, the hotel did change one for us after we called the front desk. Cobwebs and insects in the room showed that the room was poorly maintained. Toilet was big but it was rather dimly lit. The breakfast buffet was good, had a good spread of food options, and I enjoyed it. Overall would say it is an okay hotel, but they have got to do something about the cleanliness of their room.

The worst hotel you can stay at in Thailand! My partner and I spent 8800baht (around 200 British pounds) on a Grand deluxe room for 5 nights. Check-in was decent but the reception lady was very rude. Once we got to our room, we instantly saw debris and insects all over the couch. Which was still bearable. But later on, we noticed a few spots of bloodstains on our pillows and bedsheets and a few of the towels inside our bathroom. My partner and I felt uncomfortable staying there and requested some help from the reception. This rude reception lady wasn't helpful at all and gave us no explanation or solution but to change the towels and bedsheets with bloodstains on them. Their hospitality was so rude and poor, that we requested a refund. After 40 mins of explaining and negotiating a refund agreement with Agoda's service team and the Quarter, the Quarter and Agoda finally agreed on a full refund. We then found ourselves another resort for the 5 nights. It has been two months, and Agoda and the Quarter still haven't refunded me. After 3 weeks of communication with Agoda, they have refused to help or comply with the agreed refund. The Quarter's response was even the worse, instead of the promised refund written by them on the email they could only offer us 1-2 nights stay when we originally booked for 5 nights. After this one and the only response we got from them, they stopped replying to us and ignoring our calls. Telling us their manager is missing every time we call them on the phone. In the end, I never got my money back and never heard from Agoda or the Quarter again. Never book this hotel/resort and Agoda!!!!!!!! They are a bunch of frauds. Agoda does not assist you if anything happens, all they do is tell you to message the hotel/resort, instead of communicating and assisting on your behalf as a travel agency you book from. The Quarter, I have no other words to describe this place but money scamming business. I hope after seeing this review, it will save some of your hassles and reconsider somewhere else.

This a lovely traditional style hotel with chalet-style rooms based around the pool. It’s a short walk away from the town centre, and is set in quiet and peaceful surroundings. There’s a central restaurant and bar serving a good range of meals, although Pai’s Walking Street is probably a bigger attraction! We only tried the breakfast, which was perfectly good with international and Thai options. Our upstairs room was very comfortable, with king size double bed, with robes and sandals provided. There’s a fridge, stocked with two bottles of water per day, but no mini bar. The pool is a good size, surrounded by several day beds, some of which are screened off for a bit of privacy. We were only here for two nights, but would definitely return next time.

This hotel has the potential to be really nice but it would appear standards have slipped since low occupancy. We checked in for a 3 night stay but left after 2. We had a family room which was a great size but it was a little grubby and not well cleaned. The bed was really hard and the hotel could not offer a bed topper I had to use a spare duvet from the second room to make it bearable. The outside area was totally unusable as it was covered in dirt and the seat pads were stained and rusty had never been lifted or cleaned and had clearly been left out for a long time not looked after. The whole place was covered in cobwebs including the fans and light fixtures just evidence of poor maintenance. The breakfast was limited but acceptable however I ordered a banana waffle and there was no banana to be seen and no explanation. In the restaurant one night we were ignored by a member of staff not sure if they could speak English or Thai as we tried both languages but the service was lacking. I had friends in another room who had to move twice as the first room had no water and the second room had no lights. The shower heads both came flying off when used actually quite dangerous and again the hotel did not offer a room change or upgrade. They had paid for an extra bed for their son the hotel had forgot and the bed they arranged was clearly pulled out of storage and covered in cobwebs. We booked the hotel 3 weeks in advance and I just feel they had enough time to prepare for our arrival despite their being less tourists. I really wanted to love this hotel but they need a thorough deep clean of all areas and some general maintenance and upkeep or sadly they will struggle to recover at all from the issues caused by COVID. I understand the financial pressures but I think even high quality maintenance and cleaning in the few rooms that are being booked would make it stand more chance of recovery. Currently it is way below acceptable for a 4* hotel
