We stayed here 1 month and we absolutely love it!
The owner and her staff are lovely, kind, helpful, smily people who make you feel welcomed and at home.
We had a very big bungalow with a huge balcony which was perfect for spending days and evenings chilling on the hammock :)
The extra, really important, bonus of this place is the swimming pool that cooled off the hot Thai days.
They have daily, weekly and monthly rates which gives you an opportunity to get a very good price.
The resort is quite and peaceful so you really feel in nature.
And there wifi connection is super fast! (I downloaded so many movies!)
It's a short walk (15min) to the city center which makes the location quite but still convenient.
I will defiantly come back here on my next visit!

Highly recommended. Run by the most wonderful hosts. It's a super cute place just a short walk out of town. Call ahead of time (find the number on Facebook) and you can negotiate the lowest rate (better than agoda) and they will pick you up from town when you arrive. The bungalows are just beautiful and the price point is really great value. Super fast wifi all over the resort. Free breakfast. A quiet place to go and relax. Make sure to check out fat cat restaurant around the corner and the vegan desert place down the street.

We planned to stay one night but after having seen our room's spectacular view we decided to add another night!

We had a mountain view hill cabin with spectacular view and balcony with bath. Breakfast is served on our cleaned room as we please.

Staff is very helpfull kind and polite. With free shuttle service to Pai.

Definitely a go!

The pictures are not an accurate representation. Not worth the price, as you can find something much cheaper for the accommodations. Our hut was pretty dilapidated. We had a blood stain on the underside of our duvet, they accused us of hiding it upon checkout, even though we emailed and tried to communicate to the staff. Pretty gross considering it didn't belong to us and they didn't clean the room during our stay. I would not recommend staying here, although the pool is nice.

We stayed just one night at Chang Pai resort, and it was fine.
The room was in a "villa" (well, villa is a big word, but it was a small separate building up the hill with 2 rooms under one roof) - it was very clean and comfortable, the bed was comfy and soft for Thailand and everything was spotlessly clean. From the bed there was a great view of the sunset!
There was a big walk-in shower, and on the veranda a huge bathtub in the open air.
With the current drought (and the low water pressure) it was not a good idea to fill the bath so didn't do it - but the shower was great with plenty of hot water.
Breakfast was served in the room, it was plentiful and good.
We also ate some hot food from rooms service and it was delicious (pad thai, stir fry).
The pool area is small, with just a few (a bit worn-out) loungers, but we did not make use of it.
This is not a fancy resort, but very nice and comfortable.
Service is also very friendly.
This resort is up a steep hill = therefore great views - and its already very steep to arrive at the hotel parking to with your scooter - if they suggest to drive further up to the rooms don't do it, it's better to walk as the ride is too steep and dangerous.

Whilst this accommodation is far from luxury you certainly get your money’s worth. The room was basic but very affordable. You certainly get a jungle experience, very authentic. Whilst there was a bed bug problem I suppose this is what is expected in the jungle.

Hotel staff were very polite and accommodating. This resort is about 10 mins out of Pai city centre however they offer FREE tuk tuk transport to the centre during the day/ early evenings. If you are on a budget and don’t want a dormitory I would recommend.

FYI irrelevant to accommodation the tourists in Pai are verbally living a double life- pretending to be impoverished when clearly they are more than middle class.

We loved our stay here. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast which we had included was a great way to start the day. best to have a bike, but the staff a very friendly and will help with a ride into town if needed. great to come have a swim in the pool after a day of checking out the other sites. only thing is the wifi isn't that great from the room, but perfect by the pool. you won't need wifi here just chill out.

We had a great few days staying at Chang Pai resort in a stream view room. The room was very basic but clean and great value.
The location of this place is outstanding. It is extremely peaceful and beautifully surround by the Thai jungle, while also being very close to the centre of Pai and also the white Buddha.
I would recommend this place for somewhere to lay your head while exploring the lovely little town of Pai!

Great accommodation and very friendly owners beautiful views ... but no road access you have to drive or walk across fields to get there ..no lighting at night .. breakfast not for vegetarians and Thai rice dish only.. bit far from town about 15 mins to centre to walk .. it’s literally in a field surrounded by garlic seedlings ... but if you don’t mind the hassle it’s really lovely and the owners will take care of you ...ps no hot showers did not work ....not for older or disabilities

We stayed for 4 nights in Chang Pai Resort. It is slightly out of the centre at about a 15-20m walk which is fine, or 3 minutes by bike.

The resort has a nice small pool area with a reception area and a few cold drinks to choose from. The setting is quite nice with multiple cabins/bungalows with a stream running through it. The rooms are a nice size with decent views in a peaceful setting.

There is nothing poor about this place but it needs a cash injection at some point. Out mosquito net had multiple gaping holes in it rendering it useless. The Wi-Fi is quite poor. The room is slightly damp but not uncomfortable. The bathroom is pretty cheap but once again not awful. The staff speak very little English compared to most places.

I wouldn't not recommend this place but I think there's better places to stay. We actually got a very cheap deal for about 550 bhat a night so we can't complain really. I certainly wouldn't pay the full advertised price.
