Just across the river from Walking Street. A peaceful oasis just steps from all the hustle and bustle. Once across the wooden bridge, you’ll be in another world. Though there is no AC, there’s an overhead fan and a mosquito net over the bed if needed. Highly recommend this peaceful place.

Pai Country Hut was the perfect place to finish our Mae Hong Son loop adventure. The rooms are really nice wooden huts which give out jungle vibes and are just a great place to relax. Ours had a private bathroom at the back which was great and all of them have seating outside the front plus a hammock to chill in. This was so relaxing that we spent most of our time in Pai just chilling out here.
Breakfast is simple toast with some spread and a bunch of fruit, coffee and tea which is perfect to start your day with.
The location is great in our opinion. Since it's on the other side of the river to the main part of town it's much much quieter and it's only a couple minutes walk to be in the hustle and bustle of the town. We highly recommended staying here if you're coming to Pai!

Like Glamping! Huts with a bed, mosquito net, toilet, shower, hammock and porch.
Basic but beautiful, looking over a grassy garden, very good location two minutes from walking street, near the river.
Breakfast included was toast with jam and fruit, so we would go out for a second breakfast.
Only downside was that our hut backed onto a road where tipsy tourists would walk past loudly at the end of the night.
Overall would recommend if you’re happy with basic facilities in a beautiful place.

Room Tip: Ask if it is possible to stay in huts which don’t back onto the road.

Beautiful, clean huts. Has a mozzie net and bathroom with toiletries and towels provided. Breakfast is nothing to write home about, but it is free and has some good fruit. Good location, across the river from the main road and quiet. The only gripe is some loud announcements over the loudspeaker (I think this was across the town?) at around 7am.

Very friendly manager at the reception.
Nice huts (very much as described on the booking site); within easy reach of the main walking street and its nice atmosphere. This a hut, thus there is a chance one will encounter some friendly bugs; not enough to detract from the pleasure of staying in such a lovely environment.
Simple yet OK breakfast, with fruits and toasts (coffee / tea).
Overall, we had a lovely stay! RECOMMENDED

Stayed 2 nights at Country Hut. Location is great. Short 2 minute walk across a bamboo bridge to the downtown area of Pai. Bed was good, no problem with bugs but they had a great mosquito net over the bed. Private bathroom was good. Had a small hot water heater for the shower. Front porch with hammock was nice to sit and relax on. I actually left one of my IPhone's on the bed and didn't realize it until I was back in Chiang Mai. I was leaving Chiang Mai soon so my hotel in CM contacted Country Hut. They found my phone and sent it out the next day. I received it later in the day. Thank you so much for helping me get my phone back and thank the workers who found it. I would stay at Pai Country Hut again.

I loved this place. The huts were very nice, especially for the price. Even better was the location. About a 2min walk across the river to the main road with everything you want, yet the huts remained quaint in the evening hours. The staff was very friendly and even helped my SO make a phone call with an office in Bangkok. To top it off, there is a free breakfast every morning that provides a great start to the day.

Two things you should know before staying that may affect your experience: 1) There is no AC in the huts, only a fan. I thought the fan actually did a very good job at keeping the hut cool considering the size. 2) This is surrounded by nature and next to a river. There are going to be bugs in your hut, mainly at night. That said, there were no flying bugs in our hut, only ants and a single snail one night that didn't harm or change our experience (these all occurred in our bathroom that was private, not the shared bathroom). On the plus side, there is a mosquito net around the bed.

My wife, little son and I had a wonderful stay at the Pai Country Hut. We stayed there for one night while we were cruising along the Mae Hong Son loop. The staff was really lovely and provided us many helpful information, e.g. what we should visit around Pai or where we should have dinner at night.
The bungalow was very clean, comfortable and lovely furnished. The included breakfast was moderate, but this is often the case in Thailand.
The Pai Country Hut is situated very well. It's in walking distance to the heart of Pai, i.e. sights, shops and restaurants are in the close surrounding.
For our next stay in Pai we would definitely choose the Pai Country Hut again and therfore we can totally recommend it.

Everything other reviewers have said about this place is 100% correct. Set just over the walking bridge in absolutely beautifully maintained grounds. The huts are quaint, but well maintained and have everything you need. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The sunrise from my hut was amazing.
