Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Really good accommodation. I had spent one week long staying at a resort. A room has enough space for me to travel and work at the same time. Very excellent for privacy, but a resort also has a space for meeting other travellers and local people. Lots of activities to do, recommended by the owner P' Kob and P' Pun. If you are looking to wellness part such as local healthy delicious diet and yoga, go to P' Kob. if you would like to see people life in pai walking street and nature attraction, go to P' Pun. They are super nice Highly recommend for traveller who aims to fully explore Pai. I was so happy to be there

Great food. Either sit in the main front area or out the back in the garden enjoying the views and dappled shade. Great service and my take away carrot cake was served in an eco friendly and bio degradable dish with a wooden spoon. Only improvement would be a bamboo straw.

I've visited only to have lunch there. The food was delicious, they cook with love. End up with homemade coconut milk ice cream with brownie. You can talk to the owner , she is so friendly and always try to provide new menu especually for vegan.

Stay here several times just never get to review it. It's a home and will surely make you feel it. The rest/common Sala is the place to let your self relax and have some nice conversation with the owners and fellow traveller while sipping tea that brewing from the bon fire... Stay here.. respect the nature,, respect the neighbor.. You will love it.

was on my bike to Coffee In Love and Pai Canyon. Coffee in Love is crowded with tourist, so i chance upon this little cafe/hotel just within 100m from coffee in love. Owner is genuinely friendly. the cafe area is cozy and decorated with amazing simple stuff. homemade ice cream is fantastic! very relaxing. unfortunately was my last day in Pai, else i would have check in! their room are made of mud/clay so air-conditioning is not needed. view is mountain range, what a view to wake up to!

I travel alone but feel like home. The owner is nice and very kind. The view, room, and breakfast are excellent. I love the balcony of my room! Even I don't go out anywhere, but I can feel relaxing and forget about anything. All you need is a good book and tea and it's gonna be the best relaxing day ever! Ps. Only in winter cuz I don't guarantee summer here...lol! Definitely I'm going back again with friends and family not alone anymore^^

I really struggled with what to say with this review as the lady who runs these bungalows seems very nice, however this site is about overall accommodation experience, so here it goes... My husband and i checked into this hotel for three nights. we were drawn to this place because it seemed very peaceful, off the beaten track and very serene from the photos and description online. It was far from it. We were on the main rod into Pai, so we heard motorbikes all through the night. There was also a couple dogs on the property that barked around 6 am every morning as well as a lawn mower (?) that was being used by the property over at 7am. Didn't make for the three nights of tranquility we thought we were in for. The main problem with our stay was the bugs. We are used to "roughing it" and can be very tolerant of bugs and spiders, but this was a whole different ball game. I got up in the middle of the night to use the washroom and I think I may have nightmares about the ants crawling on me, for years. There were also spiders the size of small birds, slugs and of course mosquitoes. the property cats would also come in and out of our bungalows, we even came in one day to one sleeping on our bed. not good for allergy sufferers. If we would have been paying a cheap price, we would have understood, but there were HOTEL rooms in town, including breakfast for 700 baht, and we were being charged 1200. when we asked to check out after the first sleepless, bug filled night (even with 24 hours notice) the answer was no, we would have to pay for our whole stay or brave the ants for two more nights. Needless to say we don't throw money away, so we stayed. we had to hose the toilet down every time we needed to use it, we both got multiple spider bites, woke up to bugs in our bed, invading our backpacks ect. Again, the lady was nice, the breakfast was great but over all price and accommodation, was a disappointment.

Paina-Paita is without a doubt one of the most amazing places that you will stay. As a person who has spent a lot of time travelling, I have never experienced such kindness. Kob and Pun do everything they can to make you feel at home. My family and I loved our three weeks staying with these wonderful people. We have many memories of shared beautiful meals, wonderful sleeps, and beautiful nature. This is not a place that you will want to miss.

This place is a little piece of heaven, a gem. The views across the valley are fantastic, lush paddy, a golden glinting Wat in the distance and jungle on the horizon. The hosts are just lovely, the cooking great, the hammocks, the gift shop with great imaginative crafts, the kettle permanently on the fire pit for a cuppa. The rooms are just great, and the bathrooms inspiring, some with amazing views when showering. It's not in town, which is good as it is bustley and a bit boozy in town. But hire a bike and explore.

I spent one month at Paina Paita in May/June 2012 with my partner. I found Paina Paita by chance on a Thai language website when searching for natural accommodation in Pai, and was immediately impressed by the images. I contacted Kob and developed a good feeling with her from the onset. When my partner and I arrived, we were even more impressed by the reality of the place! The photos can’t do justice to how beautiful Paina Paita actually is. We decided to treat ourselves and rented Kaao Barley, the large home, and were very glad we did. Kaao Barley is spectacular, and has an incredible view over the entire valley, as well as a sala (an outside living area) that makes the house worthwhile all on its own! Plus the fact that the house is beautifully decorated and very private made us feel at home immediately. The amount of love and care that Kob and her partner Pun put into the homes is astounding, and will leave you feeling so well-cared for you’ll never want to leave! In fact, my partner and I commented how it was probably the most beautiful home we had ever lived in! Every week they not only cleaned the house thoroughly, but made us find freshly cut flowers in so many corners of the house that we could’ve started having difficulty differentiating between the beautiful surroundings and our home! We had friends staying in two of the bungalows, and so had a very good look at them too. They are also fabulous; each one has its own very distinct character, and those amazing bathrooms! I highly recommend all of the accommodation. Moreover, Kob and Pun are wonderful hosts. They are friendly, always smiling, and down-to-earth people who genuinely want to help and make your stay wonderful. Kob is such a good cook that although I am very familiar with Thai food, she impressed me constantly, and seemed a natural at producing that sort of homemade food that it’s difficult to find in restaurants, especially the ones geared to foreigners! After a while my partner and I stopped ordering, and just told her to make whatever she liked! It was a great decision, and I highly recommend you do the same. If you’re here, have a look at the shop as well. It’s lovely, and full of hand-made goods that you can tell are made with incredible love and care. We bought some beautiful pants, and all our gifts for family from the shop here. None of the other things around could compare. If you’re in Pai, this is THE place to stay. I give it 5/5!
