Stayed here for 4 nights, the room was clean and bed very comfortable with good air con. Location was a little outside of town, but only a 10 minute walk. The night market was fantastic every night and had lots of Vegan options available such as Noodle Soups, Falafel Pittas and amazing amazing Gyozas from Gyoza Queen!!! Would highly recommend visiting here for some peace and quiet out of busy Chiang Mai, with many sites to see.

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night and the hotel is set as small apartments in a block. The hotel is a big dated but has everything that is required. The rooms are old but spacious and clean. The air con works well. The bathrooms though look tired are clean and the showers work well. The best part I liked about the hotel is that although it is close to the night market, it is still away from all the noise. Would definitely stay here next time I am in pai

We loved staying here but had to take a few things into our own hands!

Firstly, let me start by saying that the shower was good and spacious, the bed was huge and comfy, we loved the balcony and the air con worked great. It looks modern inside and was one of our favourite places we stayed in Thailand.

The only things were the ants, bugs and lizards. We had to massacre about 50 ants in the bathroom at first, and the stream of the little rascals did eventually stop.

We also had 2 lizards get into our room and we had to chase them out (which for us took ages 😂😂).

We put bags down by the door and kept the air con on to try and stop any unwanted intruders!

Without the bugs/lizards it would be the perfect place to stay! Not really the hotel’s fault but something to consider.

Very close to good spots too - would definitely recommend staying here!

Aware and have read the poor reviews Heart of Pai have been receiving and I have gotta have my say.

2nd time in Heart of Pai (HoP) and probably 6th visit to Pai. 1st of all I feel that the price is fair. THB 700/night for non a/c room and THB 900 for a/c room. (Yes you can get cheaper in Pai). Rooms are spacious, bathroom clean and with hot shower. Lack of wardrobe or cupboard to place stuff, all we had was a standing coat stand and some shelves attached to the wall. Had a nice table for writing and to. Nice soft comfy beds and comforters. I must say I prefer a window in the bathroom for ventilation but unfortunately HoP doesn't have one. No breakfast except for free coffee / tea during the early morning hours.

WiFi is ok, maybe I was lucky.

Location is actually not bad. True it's not on "Walking St" but it's just a few meters away, thus quieter and easier to access at night. There's actually a very good food stall opposite the hotel serving great duck. Behind the hotel, about 100m walk, there's great local street food at night. Either turn right twice or left twice and you'll find the pushcarts.

The main appeal is for drivers and riders. We can park our cars and bikes right outside the door and unload, so convenient.

I had great service from the staff both times, maybe I was lucky.

Tip: there are rooms on ground level and on upper level. Tried both and I prefer ground as I'm too lazy to carry luggage up the flight of steps. Upper level is a bit more private with your own balcony.

Two nights at this cheap quality and very noisy "dormitory" were more than enough.
1200THB per night!!!
- No breakfast included,
- Hot water heater in the bathroom not working
- 20+ years old TV set barely working
- etc, etc...
Conclusion, go there only if the other places are already fully booked!

Room and toilet are spacious, I like the bed the most, clean and not springy. We are lucky so happen the staff assist to give us a ride to and fro from bus station, really appreciate that.

A slight note. TV program reception kinda weak, unable to see clear programs, perhaps old model.

Although there was quite a walking distance to the main happening walking street, but it didn't really bother much, still bearable.

Stayed here for one night on the way back to Chiang Mai from Mae Hong Son. It was absolutely fine for us - it was close enough to the centre (about a 5 minute walk to Pai's Night Market). The room was clean, bed comfortable, bedding and towels clean and fresh smelling. The bathroom was large and we had hot water when we showered. It was room-only which, again, was fine for us.

Fellow guests appeared to be Thai (mainly families) so if you're young you might prefer to stay elsewhere.

Stayed here in January, this place was really cute and somewhat clean except for the spider webs in the bathroom room H1, but otherwise the rest of the room was spotless, it is also fairly new which means comfy beds. the TV had no English channels and Pai can be quiet at night, also the shower was not hot while were there and just had warm water. Staff drove us to bus stop and can apparently pick you up as well. People complain that is is a bit of a walk the the main area, its really around the corner.

The resort is right at the beginning of Pai on the main road. About a 10 minute walk from the main shops and restaurants.

The resort itself seems a little unfinished and is lacking a pool, but is very clean and the staff are super helpful. We didn't have aircon, but didn't need is as the rooms stay very cool throughout the day and night.

We rented a moped from the hotel (140thb for 24hr) and rode around Pai, which we fully recommend! You can get mopeds cheaper from town tho.

So a very basic resort, needs a bit more work, but it is clean, the staff are friendly, and it is nice and quiet.
