Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We originally had only booked 1 night in Pai but were so taken by our hotel we stayed 2 nights. Our hotel is on the Walking street with the night markets at the end on the river. We had a view of the river and spent hours just watching everyone crossing the bamboo bridge and relaxing. The hotel grounds are very small and consist of the coffee house and breakfast area and the small lawned area on which our room was located. No pool but we didnt miss it.Spotlessly clean and beautiful rooms with big sliding doors with a view.Breakfasts were Ok and even had eggs benedict and bagettes on it.Eggs and everything still available but Im not much of an egg eater.Walking distance to the bus terminal and plenty of tour operaters offering very cheap tours around town and surrounding areas which we did.Parking area if you have your own car or bike Would stay here again if we go back to Pai

Suggest to take the balcony room to enjoy the ambience by the small stream running pass by. It s so good sitting at balcony. The property is very clean and well maintained. Staffs are friendly and polite. Breakfast is a la cart but served as much as you want, which is good. The only pitfall staying would be the noise from the pub nearby. I was staying at the end of the property upstairs , still heard the music clearly. But that was friday night. Not sure whether the music would be this loud on weekdays.

Due to Covid Pai is dead. We were the only guests in this lovely wooden hotel that counts 12 rooms. The room is very nicely decorated, clean and modern. Same for the the bathroom. Reception and service is very friendly. WiFi is fast. Breakfast is made to order, more than enough. Location is very central and nothing is far from here.

Worst iced Americano I have had. It had the most foul taste you could never imagine coming from a coffee, may that be the I’ve used of the glass. The presentation of the hot Americano was beautiful and seemed bitter but did not quite have the same under tone of death as mine. My partner finished her coffee,I couldn’t stomach mine, we paid and after paying told the barista to just perhaps taste the coffee for quality in the future. She displayed zero concern and didn’t even give it a thought to apologise.

I’ve visited the hotel in the weekday. I called the staff to pick me up at a convenience store. The hotel manager upgraded the room for me to stay at 2nd floor. The room and balcony with Pai river’s view. Such a nice accommodation! The room was beautiful clean and cozy. The hotel manager and all staff are very helpful. The breakfast was great as well. I will be back here again when visiting Pai.

This must be one of the best places in Pai to stay. Right on the riverfront and on the main walking streets. Loved sitting out on the back deck with views over the bamboo bridge and the river, just stunning. Really beautiful building construction and rooms are nicely appointed. Would highly recommend this property.

This boutique hotel is perfect for a relaxing place to stay in Pai. The hotel is well positioned at the end of walking street and overlooks the river. The food is delicious and the hotel’s cafe is a perfect place to sit and watch the world go by. The rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed and the staff are attentive and friendly. Highly recommended.

This is definitely one of the best holiday spots to be during your visit in Pai, Hotel des Artists is conveniently located with just a stone's throw away to night bazaar. Even better you'll also enjoy the view overlooking Pai River with bamboo bridge running across from one of its 4 river view rooms. This charming hotel is full of Asian/Thai antiques, tasteful decor and tells you a lot about the history of this former Thai residence. An all-day breakfast is absolutely fantastic with wonderful choices as well as delicious a la carte dishes offered at Cafe 'D' Tists. If you're up to explore northern parts of Thailand other than Chiang Mai or Chiang Rai, Pai should be your next AwayCation! Book early before rooms are sold out as we're heading into peak period when the weather is cool and night time is full of star!

The place is clean and super convenient being located at the walking street. Breakfast has quite a good selection of 13 sets to choose from, and portions were just nice. Our room was spacious and we had every basic needs met. It was not particularly quiet the times we were there as there was some ongoing renovation going on, but by the time we turn in for the night, there was no noise. There is a river at the back where you can enjoy the sunset and take some nice pics.
