Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Property's Favourite Review
Lovely hotel, perfect walking distance from Pai centre. Free shuttle also offered. Breakfast is fresh and delicious. Big mugs for coffee, large bowls for cereal. Eggs made to order. Loved the finishing touches, robes, local soaps and herbal washes. Room is perfect, views to die for. Absolute value for money, would certainly book every time. My baby catered for with extra water, towels and a huge comfy cot.

We stayed for 3 nights in a room underneath the dining room. The hotel looks lovely especially the outside; the gardens, swimming pool and views are just beautiful. The room was good, the shower was the best we’ve had in our travels, hot and powerful. The location is good, just out of the centre about a 15 min walk, although they offer a shuttle service we never used it. There is a cafe opposite and a restaurant about 50m away. The only criticism we have is the breakfast. It looked lovely and with a lot of variety BUT it was cold; cold eggs, sausage, rice,, vegetables. I gave up and had cereal! We told reception who apologised but nothing changed in the 3 days. A real shame as it’s a lovely place.

Stayed for 4 nights and got room B05 with great view. Overall for Pai it is an excellent choice, clean & comfortable rooms, hot shower, spacious and reasonable breakfasts. Stop whinging that people speak Thai only - they are friendly and very helpful. Be courteous. Walking to the centre is a piece of piss and takes less than 1000 meters. And if you are afraid of getting effing lost / can’t be understood - don’t bother travelling overseas.

The view at the pool is very nice and worth the low price of the rooms. The staff barely talk english so communication is very difficult with them. Also, the wi-fi is very terrible all over the hotel and even worse in the rooms. It constantly shuts down. Would recommend if you don't mind the wifi problems and the staff communication... Breakfast is included, food is ok, but not great.

The hotel is nice with beautiful garden, and spacious. However, I think the rooms are a little bit run down, and needs renovation or repainting, otherwise, the rate is a bit high. Wifi is good, but it is not located in the city centre. The hotel provides transport or you may walk, may be about 800m away. The breakfast is quite good and comprehensive and during my stay, I would like to specifically mention their chef and another colleague, Ms. Ku and Joy, as only both of them are taking care of the breakfast during that time. They are very much attentive, customer service oriented and their smile are what making the hotel outstanding. I am thankful to them. Another point is their swimming pool is facing the garden which is also very nice.

Yoma is a lovely hotel in the wonderful little town of Pai. The pool was crystal clear and felt so good after a day of touring. The breakfast buffet had lots of choices. We especially enjoyed the view from our private deck which included two comfortable loungers. The location was a 15 minute walk from Walking Street, though the hotel had a free shuttle.

Not even a single star for this hotel. They would not honor my reservation, despite having my confirmation e-mail from Booking.com. They clearly abandoned all internet reservations in favor of higher-priced walk-in reservations. This hotel is not about service and a good experience. Stay away from it.

We had x2 double deluxe rooms. Upon our arrival we were taken to our rooms. The grounds are very nice and our rooms were very clean, comfortable and the bathroom was particularly nice. After settling in we decided to look around and see the pool area, only to find that the pool was being fixed and so we couldn't use it. We were annoyed because the main attraction of this hotel was the pool, especially for our children. Having explained that we would be seeking a new place to stay, no one contacted us about the pool, the hotel moved us to another one of their hotels, with a functioning pool, just around the corner. They had in fact upgraded our stay to a better hotel. Had the pool been working I no doubt that our stay here would have been nice.
