Would definitely stay here again. The lady that runs it is so kind and welcoming and will help with any query you may have. The rooms are absolutely fine and have a stunning rooftop. The complex is quiet and within walking distance from the shops although we rented a scooter. The pool is nice and you can order food to be delivered to the hotel if you don’t fancy heading out. Will definitely be staying here again when we go back to Pai.

My partner and I stayed at the countryside Pai for almost 3 months during the isolation period. The property is beautiful with lots of trees and wildlife. Nice grassy area, a decent sized pool and a few hang out spots. It’s surrounded by mountains and rice field, very beautiful and tranquil location. The bungalows are not close together like a lot of the other one’s we saw in Pai. PLUS every bungalow has its own roof terrace amazing for having a sunset beverage. We loved staying here and we never got tired of the beautiful nature around us even while the whole town was in look down. The bungalows are clean and have all basic needs met.

The best thing about this place were the beautiful people who work here. Especially the manager. She speaks great English and helped us with everything, but really EVERYTHING we needed. I think she has to be the most helpful resort manager I have ever encountered. She really goes the extra mile to make you feel at home. There was many challenges during these months of being stuck in a foreign country, of it was finding a money changer or Finding the last avocados of the season :D Both her and her partner personally drove us to the airport upon departure in Chiang Mai.

This is by far the nicest place we stayed in mainland Thailand. Absolutely recommend. 10/10.

Thank you again to the countryside for making us feel at home in Pai (especially in challenging times like this)

Our stay was great. The room was fantastic with lovely views. So peaceful. Less then a 5 min moped ride from the walking street. The staff were so nice and drove over to the immigration office to help with our TM30 forms even after we had checked out! Overall an amazing experience.

Place is run down. Swimming pool with a green with algae. Doors on accommodation don’t work properly. Had to call the owner out late at night in my return as the keycard did not work. My room did not get made when I was away for the day. Owner handed me fresh towels and water when she arrived to open my door! TV didn’t work. Room wasn’t really clean.
Avoid.

Staying with The Countryside Resort for 5 nights. We rent an aircontioning hut and the size is pretty good but it looked a bit old and may need to fix some issues with the wardrobe. The bed is comfortable and clean. Overall, we have very good expereience with this resort especially the very good review around,

We adored this place. It’s breathtaking views stretch for miles and your completely amongst nature. Waking to the sounds of so many different creatures with actually incredible!! The rooms are surprisingly big and the beds are comfortable and large. The only negative was no hot water which was needed after a long bike journey in the rain. You’re only a stones throw from the walking steet (amazing street food) and bars. We can’t wait to visit again next year!!

First the good things about the hotel - nice pool, great location set back from town so there is peace and quiet, but if you want to go to town it's about a 15 min walk (walking slowly). There is a free shuttle into town if you need it which is great. The views from the resort are beautiful too. Rooms are spacious.

On the other hand - it overall is expensive for what you get. The rooms are shabby and our bed was awfully creaky, shower pressure was terrible. Pillows on the bed were extremely high and hard so we didn't sleep well, blankets could use updating. Sun beds need updating too, they aren't adjustable so you have to lie flat on your back, there is only 1 umbrellas for shade in the pool area. No breakfast and no real atmosphere in the hotel area.

We had a frustrating experience at the end of our stay. We went to check out and there was no-one at reception, we waited 20 minutes for someone to finally show. Then we were told we couldn't pay on card, despite being told at the start of our stay that card payment is available. We had to rush into town to get cash which cost us $12 in ATM fees, and nearly missed our bus. Bad way to leave and just overall annoying.

Picture a beautiful place with easy access to Pai - that connects you with all that nature has to offer. The huts are beautiful - with a roof top deck to watch the sun rise and set. The beds are comfortable...the rooms are spacious and best of all we were treated like special friends.

Aew is the new owner of this spot - and she is something special - friendly, funny and welcoming. There is a truck that will take you into town and bring you home if you don't want to walk into town. The food was terrific - and they really worked with our eating preferences.

The pool is clean and well maintained. You feel like you are way out in the country - with nature's sounds lulling you to sleep at night.
I love this place!! what a treasure - so happy we found it!!

You can even cook your own meals here I am sure - just ask.
