This place is very pleasant and peaceful...during the day. Staff is friendly and smiling. Breakfast is good. Hammocks by the river Pai for quiet contemplation. Close to the action in this magnet for Western seekers, scavengers, stragglers and for those who pine for Woodstock 1969 to come back forever.

Now that covid is receding into the distance, the pilgrims are back and welcomed by the plentiful bars, cannabis shops, tattoo parlors and massage spots. Yes, this place is in Thailand but it's not of Thailand. At least in the town's center.

OK..the reason I'm not giving five stars....the big downside from this traveler's perspective: once the sun goes down and the bar hopping and buds toking begin, do NOT expect to get a good night's sleep here as the music (if you could even call it that) pounds and pulsates into the wee hours of the early morning. Night after night. Because getting wasted on the cheap if you're a traveling tourist never gets old.

If you want it to be quiet(er), try finding a place a bit away from the town center but within walking distance.

The rooms are beautiful!!! And situated right on the river! All the decor is Thai influenced and very tasteful, rooms were also very clean. The bathrooms are outdoors and gorgeous, best shower ever!

I didn’t eat here but it is very close to good Thai restaurants and a 7/11

I didn’t encounter many staff but I stayed her alone after falling ill at a nearby hostel so was mainly just relaxing and trying to get better

Was a really good price for what I got very serene and lovely

I enjoyed my stay here. Spacious Rooms and an "outdoor" shower. Nice bathrooms. Close to the river and nice places to hangout if you want to relax with some friends etc.
The beds are legendary. However, a little expensive. The only thing I can put my finger on.

Found Pai Vimaan a nice, comfortable hotel/tent during our stay for 4 nights. A bit on the pricey side but in my opinion worth the money ($60 per night). The tents have a nice balcony that doors fully open up to. The interior feels like a nice glamping tent complete with an open shower / bathroom, day bed, king size bed, free standing bathtub in front of the bed, and industrial aircon. Walking distance to pretty much everything in Pai, including the White Buddha up on the hill

Pai Vimaan was perfect - just what we were looking for. It was right next to walking street so everything was within walking distance. The rooms were just lovely and the grounds are so well cared for. There is a rose garden just behind the hammocks and the scenery is so peaceful.
The staff was very friendly and helpful and came once a day to sweep and leave you with fresh water. If we go to Pai again I'll be sure to stay here.

Pai Vimaan resort is a real gem and it's really well reviewed on the travel sites so I'm surprised that it's not listed on Trip Advisor yet, hopefully this will be rectified soon.

The location couldn't be better, right on the river in the heart of Pai. Once you are on the property, you feel like you are in a lovely and peaceful Thai country garden, far from any noise.

The resort has four large main units with up and down apartments. It also has a row of 5 lesser priced bungalows. The units are very well constructed, well ventilated and cool and contain lovely hand crafted doors, windows and furniture. The upstairs shower was very unique in that it had a very nice open moon roof, unique and practical :-)

The beds and linens were good quality and the bathrooms well maintained and modern. Like any decent hotel, they have a b_m sprayer which I find very civilized, one of the things that western society has sadly overlooked.

The price was good and very competitive. The included breakfast was up to the good standard often found in Thailand. The staff are helpful and friendly and assisted with all our varied requests to the best of their ability. We were lucky to have stayed here on our first trip to Pai.

We staid one night at the resort in a Delux room.
The first impression was that this place looks better in the photos.
The resort is much smaller that we imagine .
The resort is more an upgraded guest house .
The room was is quite small and the bathroom is very simple .
The resort is located in the center of the town that is a big plus but it has it toll -
noises that came from a local Kareoke bar made it difficult to get a good night sleep.
Noise isolation is not something you might find here .
The breakfast was typical Thai but no more than that.
The stuff was friendly but not so helpful.
Our overall impression is that this place is overrated.

I am not one to complain and this is my first complaint on tripadvisor but I found the staff here to he extremely rude and unfriendly, when they saw that I couldn't walk I felt like a bunch of them were making fun of me and sort of laughed when I walked past and when we asked to use their phone to call another Thai number they expected a lot of money. Bed sheets and room wasn't cleaned until third night, the locks don't work on the room we came back to find a Thai little boy in our room, no security at night at all and the showers are either hot or freezing (I've been backpacking asia so my standards aren't high but these were bad)! Pai is beautiful but I won't stay here again!

This hotel is right along the tail end of Pai's "walking street" (aka night bazaar), which makes its location very good. Includes parking (a rarity along the walking street). The rooms are nicer than most in the area (many on the walking street are quite basic rooms, often fan only and small). This one has air con (not needed at night in December), good bed (a bit hard), nice bathroom (rain shower). Amazingly, there are few mosquitos (none in the room even though the door doesn't seal well). Comes with breakfast (american = meats + eggs + salad, or Thai = rice porrage) which is fine...nothing to write home about. The one area they need to seriously improve is the WIFI coverage (only worked in the far corner of our room, and then only sometimes) and Internet bandwidth (at 5pm it was too slow to be usable, at 11pm when everyone asleep it was OK though not great). The price was higher than most in the area (2500 baht negotiated to 2200), but as Farang wanting something a bit nicer it was acceptable.

This is our third stay in Pai and the first time in Paivimann resort.
The hotel is perfectly located near Pai river very close to many bars and restaurants.
We stayed 4 days in this hotel at room 102 which is located at the closest section to the river.
The view is perfect!
Our friends stayed at a different room which was a bit different than ours: it didn't have the same sitting area inside the room and the decoration was simpler.
The room had AC, a refrigerator,TV and DVD player, a very nice shower (rooms at a higher floor had an open section in the shower), very clean and nicely decorated.
Breakfast was included in the room price and it was very nice.
To conclude, we believe this room was one of the best we stayed in and we are highly recommend it!
