In a quiet small street but very close to Walkingstreet. Cherkaew is a beautiful and well maintained hotel. The cabana rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is standard but enough. The staff is very kind and helpfull.

It is within close proximity to the walking street where you could find many small set up stalls at about 7pm. They sell several local stuff such as their local snacks, handicrafts and clothes. Near the hotel, you could also find many restaurants and cafes within walking distance. The room is clean, the aircon is really powerful and cold, the water pressure in the shower is good. One of the setbacks is that I chose a mountain view room. But half the view is blocked by a building that's only a small lane opposite the hotel. I had to shut the curtains, as the neighbours opposite me could see right through my room, and same goes for me. So the view is as good as no view. There were also very big ants crawling at night into my room and into the shower. Kind of scary and I had to kill several of them. There weren't any food in the room. Perhaps they got in to enjoy the aircon as the weather is extremely hot even in the night. Breakfast was good. A few selections to choose from. Very friendly n helpful staff. Prepared a small cake for my friend who had her birthday getaway in Pai. Really thankful for their thoughts!

This hotel is absolutely fantastic. It has a modern decor throughout, a lovely pool and the room rate includes a delicious breakfast. Not to mention, the staff are great and also the location couldn’t be better. Definitely the nicest hotel we have stayed in on our trip!

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of our trip around Thailand. We fell in love with Pai as soon as we arrived and wished we’d planned to stay longer, the hotel was also part of why we loved the place so much. All the ladies were so friendly who worked there, English wasn’t always 100% understood but they really tried their best to answer questions and advise. Good location, 1 minute from walking street. Room was so big with high ceilings and windows which opened outwards looking onto the road and mountains in the distance. Bed was so comfy, best mattress we slept on the whole trip! Hotel was really quiet, didn’t hear any other guests at all really despite the close location to bars and market in the evening. The bathroom was also great, little amenities and amazing rain shower head felt like heaven after trying some rather ‘slower’ showers! We visited the pool outside once but unfortunately it’s quite shaded all afternoon which meant the water was freezing as hadn’t warmed up much but nice to sit outside and read a book. They close the reception and lock the main doors at 10pm so give you a separate key to enter after this time and a number to call if any problems. Overall we loved Pai and loved our stay here we would love to return one day, we can see why so many people never end up leaving!

I stayed here for 1 week. This was my third time in Pai. I like this location. Breakfast is a little weak so I supplemented outside, I am vegetarian. I would stay here again if traveling with someone who wants modern comforts. If traveling alone again I will stay in lower priced housing with AC. Many choices of where to stay in Pai. I will be going back to Pai perhaps as early as next month. Great place to slow down.
