So glad I found this place amongst all the overpriced and not so great quality accommodations in Koh Tao. The staffs are friendly and super kind. Walk in rate can be cheaper than booking on OTA but this place is getting more popular hence I would recommend you to book in advance during high seasons. Bike rentals are available right at the hotel for 200 THB per day (same price with most of other rentals in KT, and their bikes are well kept). Their coffee shop has everything with good prices (coffee, coconut juice, smoothies). Food menu look promising and good price, also apply for in-room dining. The place is cover in greenery happy plants. Facilities such as pool is amazing, brand new looking. Public toilet always so clean. Small gym, reading room and a pool table. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here so much. Big room, big toilet with full amenities, comfy bed/pillows, very clean (daily housekeeping do a great job). If you are a diver, this place is so ideal for your stay. Big balcony came with big dry rack to hang all your diving stuffs. My standard room came with a big fridge, dish rack, separate kitchen sink and refill new water bottles on the daily. Location is 10mins walk to Sairee Beach. It's a nice walk down also with many shops (laundry 40thb/kg, supermarket, convenient store, food vendors, bar, hair salon, nails shop, rental diving gears, dive shops, etc. Pick up and drop off at the pier upon check in/out are complimentary. There's a 995 Duck Shop near by and highly recommend. The hotel does not come with an ocean/beach view but you get the most for everything else at a 3-4 stars property value. Plus, it is safe and fully equipped with CCTV. Highly recommend!

We stayed here for a week in January and had a great time. The hotel is lovely and the pool area is beautiful, the staff are also friendly and very helpful. We had several days round the pool. We ate at the cafe a few times and the food was lovely. The rooms are nice and big and modern but the mattress was extremely firm and so were the pillows! We also found the cleaners made the bed but didn’t clean the bathroom or give us clean glasses when we had used the ones they provided. There was often construction work happening in the day which made it very noisy and there were so many mosquitoes! We both wore lots of bug spray but still got bit several times, often in the day. The hotel is in a great spot, only a 10 minute walk down to the bars and restaurants and the beach. The beach is stunning, we loved it. We also walked to the John Suwan view point which was an hour and 20 but so worth it! Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to explore Koh Tao but also have a nice relaxing time.

The hotel is clean and the staff is very kindfull.

You can book your scooter for a low price and if you want to go to the gym it is a perfect place.

It is near to the beach and if you want you can chill at the pool.

The electronic always works.

We picked this spot for proximity to Sairee without being in the heart of the action (noise) and unfortunately think we’d have done better staying elsewhere. The location is a 10+ minute walk to Sairee’s center (with grocery store and some restaurants/businesses closer than that) and is on the quiet side, which we wanted, but beyond that left us disappointed and, after night 1, considering a move. The bed was one of the least comfortable I’ve slept in (did lots of NOT sleeping in it when I’d have liked to be sleeping) and the toilet was fairly grimy. For ~USD 50 per night, I’m confident there are better options on island. The staff is also nowhere to be found before 8am — not super unreasonable, but frustrating when we wanted to get an early start on our final day (having been unable to sleep in, try as we might’ve).

We spent 4 nights at Chantaalay but could have spent more!
The room was very spacious and clean and the bed was comfy! We included breakfast which was great value and there was plenty of choice.
The staff are all very nice, welcoming and happy to help with any bookings or queries you may have.
You can rent a moped from the hotel for 150baht which is cheap and better than going through a rental agency, some great food to be had nearby and a supermarket almost across the road is very handy!
Would recommend highly

If you’re looking for a quieter spot that’s still in walking distance to restaurants and shopping in Koh Tao, Chaantaly is the perfect destination. The staff are super friendly and the accommodations are stylish and clean. We loved watching the sunset from the pool, and also loved that our hotel had scooter rentals on site when we wanted to explore the island, along with tours and ferry rides. The restaurant downstairs was great for breakfasts, too. Our stay was perfect!

Nice hotel wit new infrastucture. Big and clean rooms with all the facilities and very nice staff. It's in a quiet area, so you can really relax on the pool and they offer bike rent to mlve around the island.

Spacious rooms with fan and AC and big balcony. Rooms are clean and come with additional mini-kitchen space. Really nice pool for chill out, the neighbourhood is really calm - no loud noises at night which is nice. Consider renting the motorbikes (they have some available at the reception, as well as parking) to get to the tourist centre of the island. The staff was really accommodating with our issues and were great help for our arrival.

We loved our stay here - the rooms are comfortable, the air conditioning works well and the showers have hot water (it does take a little bit of time to warm up but that's not a problem!).

The best part about the hotel is the lovely swimming pool which is great for relaxing and cooling off. The water can be a little bit cold, but it's so hot outside that it's nice and refreshing!

Staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful. They were great at getting back to us when we had any questions and were easy to contact at all times. They picked us up from our previous hotel as the road was a bit flooded and also gave us a transfer to the pier when we left and printed our ferry ticket for us, all at no extra cost!

We will definitely be staying here again if we come back to Koh Tao!

Amazing, modern, clean place to stay on Koh Tao! We stayed here for just over a week (extended during our stay as we loved it so much), all the staff are so lovely and helpful, pool is immaculate and a lot of choice of sun beds. Also have a pool table and gym you can use free of charge which is a massive bonus! Breakfast is great, and there’s also a café in reception with a wide range of food & drink which is open all day. We also rented a motorbike from reception which was so handy! Would definitely recommend when in Koh Tao!
