My partner and I would not recommend this hotel. We are fairly experienced travellers having stayed in all types of accommodation. For the price that we paid, it was overpriced for what was offered and is the first place I have stayed where the reality did not meet my expectations. I used Tripadvisor and Sawadee to help make a decision...

We stayed at the Charm Churee Villa for 4 days in February 2008. We had a wonderful sunset villa (n 27): the villa is very big with a wonderful bathroom and a pleasant outdoor shower. The view is spectacular, the beach is small but nice, snorkeling is excellent (one of the best spots of the island). The service is slow,...

We stayed for a week in Koh Tao and had booked the Charm Churee as our "best stay" on a world wide trip. We had a lovely Panorama room with great views and balcony. Very friendly and helping staff. Breakfast good (make your own espresso coffee). Actually, the best snorkeling of the island including the over-rated Nanyuang was in the...

This hotel was the disappointment of our trip, where we stayed in 5 other hotels in Thailand. It offers very bad value to money and we would definitely not recommend it to anyone. The hotel is set on a steep hill and doing anything meant climbing lots and lots of steps. From the beach to the reception area (our room...

We were a party of 11 and had been staying at a cheaper resort up until Xmas Eve. We wanted something a bit more luxurious for Xmas and had booked Charm Churee on-line before coming to Thailand. It was a little on the pricey side but it was Xmas and the end of our holiday so we thought we deserved...

We'd been staying at backpacker budget places in Ko Phagnan and Ko Samui, and had no bookings made when we showed up at Jansom Bay in early December. (We picked the location somewhat randomly, after a 3 minute Google search of good beaches to snorkel from on Ko Tao) Still feeling seasick from the ferry ride from Phagnan, we decided...

We booked 4 nights at the Charm Churee (sunset villa 7700 TBH), expecting to find a peaceful island, a charming little hotel in a beautiful landscape. What we found there was disappointing: 1) The resort is quite big for such a small island: 42 bungalows, and more are being currently built. 2) as a consequence of the 1st point, concrete...

We arrived at Charm Churee via an incredibly bad experience at other accommodation in Ko Tao – to cut a long story short we stayed 10 minutes at the original place we had booked, then phoned Charm Churee looking for a room. They promptly collected us from where we were and brought us to the resort. After our experiences earlier...

We stayed at the Charm Churee for our honeymoon. We flew into Koh Samui and got the catamerang over. I recommend booking seats in the VIP lounge for 50baht or you'll be squeezed in downstairs with the back packers going to Koh Penghan. We we're picked up on time at the pier in a very crude boat taxi which safely...
