Bans overall was a great experience. The open water course was fun but the advanced was exceptional! The restaurant and rooms were great as well. I highly recommend Anthony Griffiths as an instructor. he made to experience so memorable being so knowledgable and passionate about diving. He also was halarious.

I did my open water here and my instructor was superb. I Was very well looked after and had a fantastic time. The resort itself is lovely. It's nicer the further back you go. I had a room up by the third pool (the new pool) and it was lovely. When you enrol on a diving course they do give...

There is not much positive I have to say about diving from the Ban's boat... they had decent cookies, the Burmese boat guys were good at their jobs, and the toilets were not disgusting. But that's where the praise ends. My biggest complaint is about the size of the operation: it's just too big to enjoy. Everything felt too crowded,...

The place is beautiful. The private room I had was the tiniest room ever. There are 100s, literally 100s, staying at this resort in slow season! All of thr pools were filled with scuba classes (no relaxing there!)The diving was amazing, but there are a ton of other shops. I would prefer to use my money towards more of a...

We stayed at the new wing at Ban’s for three days. The rooms are perfect, the pool and poolarea is awesome and the staff are so sweet and beyond helpful. Even the restaurant by the beach is among the best and very fair priced. My wife and I are definitely coming back!
