We stayed here for three nights in a ‘superior home’ bungalow at the very end of the resort (319). The room was clean and charming; the bathroom however seemed a bit basic for this level resort (see photo). The resort itself is in a perfect location not too far from the pier and ‘town’ but far enough to be peaceful. The on-site travel services and informational is there just to sell their own tours etc so if you are independent travelers like us, they won’t provide much advice. The staff is pleasant and the small semi private beach is nice but I recommend walking south along the coast to the Sai Nuan beach (go past the first one where they want you to pay 100 baht to enter - crazy) and continue to the second one also called Banana beach. Good place for snorkeling and you can rent a mask and tube for 20 baht Then wait until sunset. You have a great view from the bar on the left as you face the ocean.
The resort breakfast is fine with tables overlooking the bay.

It was my first visit at Koh Tao and Sensi paradise gave me unforgettable experience. When I first stepped on Koh Tao island. The staff was already there to pick me up. When I arrived at the resort I was blown away by the exotic decoration of Southern Thai style but yet contemporary and the nature of the resort atmosphere. The food were extraordinary and packed with flavors bomb. Not to mention that if you find that Thai food is too spicy, they actually serves delicious Western dishes as well. I was in love with egg benedict which I had for breakfast during my stay. The room was decorated in authentic Thai style but it has all the amenities that you need. What I actually like the most about this resort was the hospitality of the staff. They are definitely service minded and no matter who you talk to at the resort, they never fail to reply you with smiles on their faces. Ultimately, if you are looking for resort to stay in Koh Tao island, Sensi Paradise Beach Resort is your answer.

Our stay at Sensi was perfect from start to finish. We were met at the pier and taken to the resort to be welcomed with an ice towel and cold drink. Immediately, we felt welcomed and at home. Our 'tree house' was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. They supplied shower gel, shampoo and body lotion, dressing gowns and slippers, along with fresh towels daily, beach/pool towels and sarongs. Our veranda was spacious, complete with comfortable furniture, fridge and tea/coffee station. I loved waking early and sitting out there listening to all and watching all of the wildlife. If you have mobility issues, definitely ask for a bungalow close to the beach as some of the paths are steep.
The staff were some of the kindest people I have ever met. They work incredibly hard and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options and a beautiful view of the beach. The restaurant food was fantastic too. The pools were perfect and very much needed to cool down!
We loved the location, close to everything you could want, yet far enough away to not be disturbed by noise.
We booked a private longboat through Sensi and snorkelled around the island. Our captain was JoJo. He is the sweetest man with an excellent sense of humour; interacting with us, taking photos for us when we were in the water and teaching us about the fish and island. We laughed all day and the views and snorkeling were breathtaking. Thank you JoJo!
I don't have anything negative to say about this resort. It truly was perfect for us and I missed it when we moved on. I'd go back in a heartbeat. Thank you for making our stay such a memorable one.

Our Romantic Sea View Room was really lovely. The view of the bay, just watching the flow of boats in and and out, was surprisingly pleasant. Of course you could hear the boats but it just becomes a part of the all the other island feel sounds. Not a big room, more like a bungalow with a small bathroom but a good sized porch area. Bed was comfy, room clean and well serviced. Had everything you needed for a laid back and relaxed stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We managed some snorkeling around the resort due to rocky formations on its small beaches but the sea was murky. Could have been from the rainy weather or from boat movement but we didn't really enjoy it. Do a tour instead. We hired the snorkels from the resort for 100 baht p.p p.day. we felt that it should have been complimentary for guests. Two well kept pools were available on site. The resort is set on a hill, so expect a few steepish areas but nothing one can't handle. The restaurant(same area you have breakfast) has a great view allowing you to watch the world go by. Not sure if it was because there were oy a few guests due to still covid recovery, but the breakfast options were minimal. Just standard. The eggs were pre cooked (any style) instead of freshly made which was our preference. All up, we enjoyed our stay at Sensi. It was so close to Mae Haad and only 20 minutes to Saree Beach so we didn't need to book transport. Its hilly in areas though. Quicker to walk along beach rather than on main road. The resort offers complimentary ferry transfers which was a bonus when you have luggage. They offer ferry ticket and tour bookings service also if you need.

There were 4 good things about the Hotel. Plenty of coffee etc in room. Best toaster at breakfast. The room cleaners were absolutely charming. Nice beach with a very short walk to town.

The rooms don't have a wardrobe, there is a short pole with 4 coat hangers. The pole is quite high so anyone under 5ft 3 would have a problem reaching it.
If you choose the romantic view room you'd have to leave your suitcase outside as there isn't enough room to use this for your clothes within the room due to the small size of the room. 2 small baskets are provided to store clothes (nowhere near big enough to store anything other than your underwear) .
There is no telephone in the rooms (this was of great concern when a group from outside the hotel decided to bring their own alcohol and have late night drinks until after 1am outside the beach bar, making lots of noise). The only way to contact the hotel was by email (to which I didn't receive a response). There didn't appear to be any security staff, if they were there they need to have a hearing check!
The restaurant bar closes at 9:30pm, the beach bar wasn't open at all when we were there in early December.
The concrete pathways are particularly dangerous with lumps of concrete sticking up and very uneven surfaces.
Sunbed cushions had to be collected ourselves and were then left out in the rain overnight. Rubbish left around the grounds in wastebasket and not collected. Part of the beach had been washed away by the weather exposing unsightly sandbags.
The overall feel of the grounds is quite uninviting with lots of dark areas around some of the "cabins"
The whole place needs a really good refurb.

We had booked a romantic view room which we quickly complained about and when we were ready to find another hotel (at our own cost) the reception manager moved us to a room with 2 bedrooms, we were then able to store most of our clothes on the spare bed.
We have never stayed in a Hotel without a wardrobe let alone a telephone before and wouldn't have chosen this hotel had we realised beforehand.

Overall we felt we had paid luxury prices with very little luxury.

Yes it’s a little dated no tvs in room, showers old fashioned , reception staff rude….but wait until you meet the staff in the restaurant they make your holiday they are so warm and gracious. They are not Thai they are all Burma who have fled to make a living in Thailand . They make you feel so welcome they will help you in any way they can their service is 5*. Breakfast is a choice of different items they will also cook you fresh eggs if asked. Throw some bread into the sea and you will be amazed at the different fish you will see. They have a lunch menu to nibble on while in the evening a great choice from Thai, western , seafood BBQ or even a Mongolian BBQ where you cook your own food at the table. Excellent food in the restaurant.
The beach is one of the best this part of the island it’s small but cleaned every day by the staff and the sea is calm here. Walk along the other side of the town and it is very rough waves. So many bars /restaurants/dive shops/tattoo artists you will see why it’s best to stay at the Sensi Enjoy its peace and tranquility at the hotel.
You can either walk the beach into town about 15 mins , where the port is , passing lots of small bars and restaurants or take the back street where you will find small shops and local stalls. There’s plenty of small supermarkets 7/11 selling western items. When you see all the motor bikes and tourists you will head straight back to the hotel for peace and quiet. We would definitely return …love Koh Tao

We stayed few days and had a beautiful sea view room.
Unfortunately the sea view rooms are near the harbor.
The boats make so much noise starting at 4.30 in the morning and in the room it’s very light through the thin yellow curtains. At nights you hear the music from the clubs, the hotel can’t help this off course.
Very friendly staff, good cleaners, good restaurant and very nice pool.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Sensi for our three night stay on Koh Tao.

We were picked up at the pier and driven to the resort (a journey of approx. 5mins) where we were greeted by the friendly manager Tom.

Tom immediately got to work! He was straight into being helpful; booking us a boat taxi to go snorkelling, booking our return ferry trip and offering local recommendations for things to do and see and where to eat. The restaurant was closed but he even checked to see whether we needed one of the chefs to rustle something up for us as it was late afternoon. Nothing was too much trouble. He really was the perfect host. Friendly and courteous always.

Our cabin was rustic but charming. Perfect for a few nights amongst the trees after spending a week or so staying at more contemporary and polished accommodation on Koh Samui. The air-con had to work hard in the humidity while the bed was a bit too firm but the room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom is simple but clean and the deck offers a pleasant (but humid!) area to sit on a night with a beer.

The pool area was in good condition and was relaxing amongst the trees and vegetation.

Breakfast was basic in comparison to the extensive buffets available at some of the Koh Samui resorts but was still good and there was a good number of menu options. The staff at the restaurant were always friendly and kept you well supplied with coffee.

We didn't manage to visit the restaurant in the evening on account of the many dining options available in the surrounding area but we did notice that it was the perfect spot to view the sunset. The deck is right on the beach and overlooks the pier and bay.

All in all, Sensi Paradise was a great place to stay on Koh Tao for a few days. A peaceful place to get away from the typical 'polished' resort life often found on Samui. The location is ideal. Right on the beach and close to town and the ferry. Tom and the staff are great and really make your stay enjoyable.

We made a reservation through booking.com, they didn't return our mails, phone calls or instant messages. We walked up the hill with our baby and luggage only to find the place is closed and desolate. According to locals, it's been closed for months. DONT COME HERE!

I did my 40th birthday trip here in July 2022. Between 11 adults, we had 6 bungalows, and let me say that it was fantastic from start to finish. Jann at the front desk was SO lovely and accommodating; she arranged a private cooking class and a snorkeling boat charter for us that were reasonable priced and lovely. Half of us also went diving with Aphrodive, which Sensi arranged for us. Staying at Sensi was such a nice way to spend my birthday; since everyone had their own bungalows, we all had our own space but could meet up whenever at the restaurant for yummy breakfasts or just sunset drinks. It's easy to walk into town, and we also rented motorbikes through sensi so we could explore the island. I highly recommend this resort!

Hi Linda, we were in room 38 which is definitely on the cliff. There was a sea view from the balcony but the sea was pretty far away.... I’ll try to add a photo of our view to my review if I can figure out how to. Although we could see the sea, there was a big blue water tank immediately in front of the bungalow... this didn’t bother us at all but if you’re after an uninterrupted sea view then you might be better off paying more and being right down at the sea. The resort is beautiful.... and the bungalows are lovely. Even if you’re up on the cliff, the sea really isn’t far away. It was one of our favourite places we stayed! As for the pool - I can’t remember what time it closed at night as we never wanted to swim in the evening... sorry! I’m pretty sure it wasn’t open Tom long after dark though. Koh Tao is really lovely and I hope to return to Sensi Paradise one day... it’s lovely! Any more questions feel free to ask away.
