The owner is pretty crazy, maybe look for a place near by, we like the room, was very comfortable, the price was fair and it was a clean place to stay. The restaurant was a bit expensive, never clean the room, at the end we noticed that you can leave the key in the office and then they will clean...

We had a very pleasant stay at Big Fish. I was reluctant to stay here based on the horrible TripAdvisor reviews. No, it is not a five star resort and you should not go there with high expectations. However, many of the reviews said they had trouble with safety and that the staff was rude. This was not our experience....

The location is great, chalok is a good place to stay in ko tao, and it's on the beach. The owners and the personnel are untrustworthly. Liers, tricks with the change... Take care! They will make u think you gave them an smaller note and they give you the chage according to the wrong note.. They stole you on your...

One of the worst places i Have been during my stay in Thailand. This place is not a resort but a place where they take your money by smiling to your face. The staff is really terrible, like some local people with no english but thinking that they are so smart and the foreigners are so stupid. They have a...

Myself and my husband stayed here for our honeymoon. It was the end of a 3 week stay around Thailand, money was running low so we stayed here for the last 4 nights. Luckily we got a room on the end which meant sea views. Strangely there's a side window that backs onto your neighbours side window so this can...

We booked this place and were planning to stay there. We put down a deposit for the room as requested since we wouldn't be there for another two days. Once we got there we requested to see the room we would be staying in so we could check it out. All the signs of bedbugs were in the mattress seams...

DON'T GO. Do not encourage rude thai people to continue this attitude. The women who run this place are just R-U-D-E. They scam you, they want money from you and then they shout at you, they always want money in advance and they really make you feel like the worst bug. They never wan to clean your room, they say...

We stayed for two days and the staff was extremely unfriendly , the scammed me of 100 baht to do my laundry , and the lady was just rude . They charged us for wifi which barely worked and over my experience left me with one of the worst in Thailand which is really saying something

I later found out that we were charged three times the going rate. The people there are dishonest and unfriendly. The bedding was dirty and we were bitten by bedbugs. We left first thing the next morning. We then spent a week at Montalay resort at Tanote bay which was great.

We stayed at the Big Fish for 1 day. Really felt so ripped off price wise. We were charged 1800 bat. We were tired after our jouney and just needed a good room for the night. Staff rude and unhelpful. There was no bedding, just a sheet and what looked like a single bed duvet cover. The bathroom was disgusting...

“Not a tip about the room, but if you need any tickets or advice about travel plans, we strongly reccomend the girl at Namhasin travel. She speaks very good English and is very competent. It's on the "main road", about a 5 minute walk from the Seven 11, walking away from the sea, on the corner of the road to Shark Bay.”
