The location is OK. Good entertainment outside your door step, bars and restaurant. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the shower is very bad. No good value for money. As soon as you open your door to see the sea view there are people offering taxis and staff which pretty annoying before you really wake up. Don't expect anything else...

I stayed in one of their white 700 baht Bungalows for a week. They also have other private Bungalows for 450 and 600 per night as well. From what I saw they looked nice but small. They also have more expensive Bungalows. The location was great. A little out of the way from the main area but only a 5...

Blue Wind have a collection of huge bungalows set in a pretty garden close to the sea.....perfect. With a yoga studio, chilled cafe/restaurant and central (but not too central) location, it's a great place to chill. Staff friendly and helpful. Good great too. Need wifi in all bungalows then perfect

Nice and cheap bungalow right on the beach, we were expecting bless due to its low cost but it had everything you needed! We read the reviews before we stayed and a lot of people mentioned about unfriendly staff but the staff were really nice and the woman and the front desk was extremely helpful! I would recommend staying here...

We soent a week in a bungalow here and we got what we expected at the cost, close to the beach, nice staff and clean rooms. The restaurant was very slow and mist if thee time they got our orders wrong but the view was spectacular especially in the evenings, close to the beach party but not on top of...

Sat here on a few occasions with a mango shake and it's always been nice and peaceful. Never eaten or stayed here but the food looks good and is reasonably priced. Walked past the bungalows several times and they look modern and clean. The setting here is what makes this place. Being able to sit on the decking looking out...

The staff are not at all your typical friendly Thai hosts, and seemed bothered by any questions we had. We stayed in an air conditioned room which honestly had not been cleaned for a very long time, very old and dirty, simply unpleasant. The bathroom was disgusting, full of dead bugs and the drains smelt awful. The bed was not...

Having lived on Koh Tao for 3 years I visited Blue wind restaurant maybe once a week, the view is great and they let my dog hang out there, I have always been frustrated by the lack of service here but put it down to the Burmese being scared of my dog. I used to go get my own menu...

Blue wind restaurant is on the beach, but a bit a way of the crowd and therefore peacefull and quiet. The food is good. A lot of choise in little vegetarian dishes like vegetables with very tastefull dips, and great tempura. All for very friendly prices. The non vegetarian dishes also looked very nice. Good value for price and bit...

“Spend one night as close to the beach as possible. It's worth it. Then retreat back from the wind and spend the rest of your time a few huts inland. They're much quieter.”
