having injured my foot i was unable to manage the rough terrain path , i contacted viking and asked for a room closer to the beach or with least amount of steps available , FAIL!!!! they put us in the last hut which was a fair walk from the beach and reception making it about a 10 minute walk with... Rooms are good enough, there is a balcony with a hammock and a great view of the beach. Restaurant offers many options (local and international) and are reasonably priced. It is far from the party places in Phi Phi, so expect a 15 - 20 min walk to any bar in downtown. Overall a nice place if you are not... More

Our room was a quaint little villa in the woods. You do have to walk over some pretty steep rocks and I'm even stairs to get around but if you're OK with that this place is well worth it. Code PP has a pretty intense party and culture that I wasn't really interested in, I was there more to see... More

Arrived in pi pi by speed boat, waited at the pier picked up by long boat by owners of the resort , and arrived what a place all natural wood carvings every where, natural tree roots growing over most paths. Proper jungle setting, good walks around the resort andto reception for breakfasts . Must visit the view point. Deserted beach... More

We plannend to stay here for three nights and ended up staying even longer. We had a beautiful bungalow (C3) with hammock and chill area outside. The walk up to the bungalow was very steep but short. We didn't hear any of the party noice so we slept peacefully. The resort has a great tiny beach with perfect white sand... More

Absolutely stunning resort, perfect for a relaxing holiday. My family and I stayed here on our third trip to Phi Phi, there were six of us so we had a three bedroom tree house. It was aaaaaamaaaazing, so beautiful. The decor was traditional Thai style with a bohemian feel, it was perfect for our family. In the evenings we would... More

Thankfully found this gem last minute on my phone while wandering through the crowded streets of Phi Phi. If you're looking for a party, not really the place, although town is only about a 15-20min walk/hike away. My friend and I were trying to avoid the bro-fest that is the center of Phi Phi so the Viking Nature Resort was... More

Ok, I do not normally write reviews, but I am regarding this resort as I am so angry at some of the ridiculous comments written about the hotel resort by people who you just cannot ever please. Viking Bay is a very set away natural resort in the most stunning part of the island. It has three lovely private beaches... More
