The design and decor of the resort is cool and rustic, everything is made of heavy wood and other natural elements. The vibe is very laid-back, rasta mellow. With the sand, bugs, heat (no AC) and sweat, prepare to feel a just a little bit dirty all the time. I can confirm that the shower water is indeed quite funky....

We stayed in one of the large Makmai treehouses for ten days. Good points were: The room was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed. They provided us with extra pillows and sheets when we asked for them. The shared balconies are lovely, with a hammock and table and chairs. The private beach is absolutely beautiful and very peaceful....

This place made our trip to Thailand. The service is outstanding and all the staff are so helpful. We stayed in a Deluxe treehouse and it was perfect. Always clean, free water, great views and a hammock to chill in. The restaurant serves delicious food and very reasonable prices. Some point to be aware of, not negatives. Private beach- no...

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at this unique, laid-back resort. On arrival at Phi Phi's pier, it didn't take long to see staff holding up Viking Resort signs for our free long-boat transfer around to the resort. Loved approaching the resort by boat so see the lovely little beach, clear water and resort buildings that blended in beautifully...

Really great hotel , very romantic for a couple with cute bungalows and a lovely private Beach. The food was not really good but the breakfast is very Nice. You can hear a little bit of noise at night but nothing that can't let you sleep really. Watch out for the Products they give sometimes because of the limited dates...

The romance and idealism of staying in a hut faded very quickly after hiking up two giant hills to our room...and the 2 km walk into town winding through rooty paths and more hills. Also, realized I like AC...a lot. That being said, its a pretty unique experience. Once you get settled the breezes from the oceankick in, it's relatively...

We had a fantastic stay at the Viking. All the hotels wait at the dock to taxi you to your hotel when the ferry arrives. The Viking is one of the furthest away which can be good and bad. Its a bit removed from the noise but it is also a 25 minute walk if you dont feel like getting...

After having some nights in the PP relax beach resort (which i wouldnt recommend) we stayed for our last night of our honeymoon at the viking nature resort. Nice spacious room with a flatscreen (if you need it), a fridge and a spacious bathroom. Only the water from the shower has a really akward taste during showering (not drinking it...

This is the perfect place if your looking for peace and nature in the great Ko Phi Phi Don. Forget about villages and noises. Here you will enjoy a wooden cottage lost in a hill in the forest with some great views to the ocean... The best way to get to civilization is by sea (or a 15min walk, no...
