We visited the resort in the beginning of November, good time to do that, no crowds(high season there must be nightmare not a holiday). Overall we're satisfied. We're staying in fantastic treehouse, however it already needs some improvements ( some parts covered with rust and really dated). For us location wasn't a problem as we like walking, but I saw...

We spent 2 nights at Viking and really enjoyed it. The room was fab although very small, so we could unpack our backpacks and the high humidity meant we couldnt dry any beach clothes. Good food in the restaurant but better food in the village. Those saying the 'trek' to the village is unacceptable are being ridiculous it was an...

Although, after reading loads of reviews which include both the negative and positive comments, we have decided to give a go and spend two nights in this resort. Couple of points below: Cleaninngess - 2/10 Dead cockroaches in the bathroom, a mosquito net that has been repaired numerous times and smelly blankets is not my type of beach stay heaven....

It is a good place if you want to get away from the other part of the island. If you are going to rest this place would be perfect, take some mosquitoe repellent and you would love it. You can book another activities from here or you can go to town walking

Pros: Two private beaches, near to long beach, spacious and clean rooms, concierge service, feels isolated (big feat in Phi Phi), free transfer service from pier (only during check out and check in), free tasting menu everyday, great stocked fridge in the room, free beach towels. Cons: A bit far from town centre (20 min trek through hills and beaches),...

I haven't stayed at the Viking Nature resort so I won't be writing a review about the property itself; however, I must share the poor experience I had with this hotel. My fiancé and I were planning on going to Phi Phi Island last month and booked 3 nights on the property's website directly. Unfortunately, only a few hours after...

Pros: The property is very pretty and away from the chaos of the busy area of phi phi. The resort has two private beaches which were pretty nice. The staff was friendly and the lady at the counter reminded me that I was owed my 500 baht key deposit when I almost walked away without it. Nice balcony with hammock....

Upon arrival on Phi Phi, at the ferry port, you'll find a Thai worker holding a board to the resort. You'll then get packed onto a long tail boat and driven to the resort. The staff are helpful and there's a ton of bell boys ready to carry your bags. You'll then get walked (100m) to reception where you check...

We had a great vacay here. Everything it's just nature, the houses are in nature, the restaurant is in nature and it's also on the beach. There were no bugs or someth like that in our house. Love the food from their restaurant very much! The beach is great, it has a wonderfull view. It is not too far away...

I was a bit nervous booking here due to comments about being in middle of jungle. However it was brilliant. We were met from the ferry by their long boat which I hadn't booked so that was good. Resort on initial look is a bit run down but it's completely in keeping with surroundings. So much attention to detail. Our...
