Stayed here one night a few weeks ago. The hotel was hard to find and quite a walk from the pier. The room was basic which wasn't a problem but the windows in the rooms don't open. The staff had an attitude problem and weren't very welcoming at all. One member of staff refused to make eye contact when we...

It wasn't clean at all. Bed is really uncomfortable and the room had broken furniture. Bathroom was even worse so the whole bungalow was stuffy. All and all very unpleasant stay. The only positive thing was breakfast which was ok.

Maney resort really was an experience, little wood huts on stilts in the mountain side! We stayed for 2 nights and that was definitely enough, wouldn't recommend t stay longer than that. Rooms had mosquito nets on the bed which was a plus and the bathroom is built into mountain side so be prepared to step over and manoeuvre through...

Me and my boyfriend are backpacking so we have stayed in some terrible places but this one is by far the worst! We arrived in the monsoon season and the tree house looked very unstable on the hill. They also had a fire burning in the middle of the woods next to all the tree houses( very sensible) which made...

We selected this hotel on the basis that it resembles a tree house - meaning a learning experience for urban-bred kids who are so used to full city amenities. Well, the rooms come with attached bath perching along the slope. The hotel is kind enough to send staff to pick us up at the jetty upon arrival. According to the...

We were staying in Maney resort in the end of February 2016. It's literally living in the middle of jungle. Every morning monkeys came to steal our food and just gathered on our balcony. The real wild experience I can say. The rooms are clean and beautiful but you have to climb the dangerous stairs to get there and it's...

Unfortunately after booking the accommodation through TAT in Bangkok were promised something that we didn't get. The resort is only 15 mins away from town but it seems ages when it's blazing heat, up a very steep hill. The room is not a looker and there is gaps around doors where bugs get in. Also in the bathroom - always...

PROS: Location surrounded by nature, typical bungalows, away from the noise but relatively close to the center (just 5 minutes ... 5 more minutes will be necessary to climb all the stairs to the bungalow if you happen to be in one of the highest!); good breakfast, beautiful view at sunset. CONS: The staff was very rude, cleaning was limited...

Bathroom full with bugs, air-conditioning didn't worked good and the staff's English is bad. They mixed up our order at breakfast and didn't wanted to change it. We paid 1500 baht for 2 persons. It's far from the beach, but we didn't mind.

I have never slept on beds as hard as the one I slept on here. It literally was the same as sleeping on the floor , every hour you hear trucks or motorbikes revving as they go up the hill and the room was full of bugs ( the bug net had holes in it ) resulting in my whole...
