If you are looking to stay here for the full moon party, I recommend you paying a little more to stay at sarikantang or cocohut. This place is overpriced and a disaster. We killed probably a total of 30 Mosquitos in our room during the 3 days we were there. They don't provide a flat sheet. Just a disgusting blanket... More

5/5 for location! Amazing private and quiet beach but only a short walk from town. The beach huts are basic with a few loose nails and balcony needs some repair but if your a backpacker looking for a cheap authentic beach hut then this is the place! As it's the beach expect ants, geckos and other creatures, I've seen other... More

Firstly, what a beautiful view. Literally one big rock away from the Full Moon Party (not that you can walk around that rock - you have to walk 15 mins in the other direction up a dirt track) but far enough away that the beach is not covered in scummy litter like Haad Rin. The beach is a clean, peaceful... More

I have been told about this place, but until I saw it I couldn´t believe it. I´ve been in too many hostels around the world, all of them with different prices and expectations in it, but I´ve never found a place as dirty as this, maybe in Rome in a hostel of 6 euros per day. We stayed three days... More

The location is lovely but the accomodation is not. The place could do with a complete makeover for the prices they are charging. There is lots of pests scurrying around and the staff are not too helpful. It is not good value for the price they charge. The water in he washroom was a bit smelly also. I wouldn't recommend... I love leela beach. great location to stay for relaxing and its quite. but very old furniture and no water heaters in the bathroom and the water from the sink smells musty. I also found termites in the room furniture. The price also a little bit expensive

The problem with Leela Beach is that although it gives you the ultimate experience in waking up, opening your door onto the beach and walking into the ocean, the resort itself is a complete dump and in dire need of some major TLC. Holes in the shacks let in angry colonies of ants and cockroaches, no hot water and no... More

We booked an aircon bungalow for 4 nights over fullmoon party. We checked in and checked out 30 minutes later after we found a room in another resort. The surrounding is dirty and there are cables coming out from the bottom everywhere. Our bungalow was full of holes and acutally there were workes on the roof of our bungalow -... More

The beach is ideal. These bungalows are disgusting. Do not book ahead of time when visiting thailand everything is negotiable with many choices. We paid $35 for a fan beachfront room. Which in thai standards is a small fortune. The very nice hotel next door was far nicer for $10 more a night. Avoid total rip.
