Average Accommodations but Awesome Beach! The beach was not crowded so it felt more like a private beach. The food at restaurant was good but staff lacked personal touch. The food and bar at resort next door was Fantastic!

Our 4th visit to the Rung Arun, thankfully nothing has changed. Same lovely and helpful staff, same friendly dogs and same peaceful and relaxing beach. We have a beachfront bungalow but the other rooms are only a minute away from the beach. I look forward all year to our break here and again am not disappointed.

The bungalows were really nice and clean and located directly at the beach. The shower was ok, didn't have so much water ;-) The pool looks nice too but we didn't use it as we prefer the beach... We didn't try the food at the resort but had some nice food and drinks right next door at the cool beach...

Very nice resort. Quite old school. Only a handful full of employees. The restaurant is very very average. The beach is amazing. Like glass most days. The bungalows are simple but clean. The beds are slightly hard so if you like a soft mattress go elsewhere. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay here. If you're looking for a party and more...

Had a great stay here..booked a beach front bungalow for 6 nights at a bargain price online. Room was comfy & clean albeit basic, which was fine anyway, had a full size fridge, a/c & fan, comfy bed & functional bathroom. Literally walked out the front door onto soft white sand on a nicer stretch of Ban Tai beach. Location...

I came to this resort because all other resorts I fancy are fully-booked because of the full moon party. So I got the family room. The room was badly designed. The mattress is hard as rock. The pillows too. Avoid this resort if you can.... The management was really rude when they gave me a wake-up call.

We stayed here during the full moon party as we couldn't get anything closer to town - and although it was a bit of a hike to get in to the main bit of Haad Rin we were glad to be staying here so we could get some peace and quiet at night. The bungalow wasn't as nice as the...

We visited here during a quiet week - no full moon party on etc. The room was cheap and they upgraded us to a better one because it was so quiet. It's right on the beach with nice views but the beach isn't exactly the best one on Koh Phangan so it's probably useful to have a scooter to explore...

Supper little place to stay. Friendly staff. Restaurants and a lovely cafe all within easy reach. You could almost be on a desert island. Rooms are clean but beds are a little hard. We moved to 15a and the bed is superb. Would not hesitate to visit again.

We've visited in March for the past three years to break the monotony of winter at home. I don't think I could imagine not looking forward to another winter here. The staff haven't changed, all friendly smiling and genuinely very nice people. Its exceptional value, clean and most of all friendly. Last year, on our last day, tiny puppy Nina...
