We came to libong primarily to see the rare and elusive dugongs We arrived and got to our hotel no problem, immediately you can see the relaxed and natural way of life here and you yourself easily fall in to this relaxed way of life. We stayed in the cheaper rooms, although small and shared shower/toilet it was still very...

Sunset Beach Resort is 10 private bungalows, one shared guest house with a few rooms, and a main house where the owners live. A man, a woman, and their 2 daughters, Aida and Baitong. Dawn and her sister, Ya, work there and live on the other side of the island. They serve as concierge, waiter, sous-chef, and babysitter to the...

At first, I thought this resort was TOO isolated, until I realised that the other 2 main resorts were only 1 km away. It is 8 km from the jetty, the final 600 metres down a very muddy (it had been raining) and bumpy track. My bungalow was great! Warm showers, which I hadn't had for 6 nights and an...

We stayed for two nights during December 2013. The hotel is at the end of the long beach of west side of Koh Libong. Other then us there were like 5 other people all in all. After doing some traveling and island hopping before we enjoyed the silence and seclusion here very much. On there other hand there is not...

I stayed at Libong Sunset with my partner for a week over New Year. Initially for the first couple of days we really were not enjoying our stay, however there were reasons for this which I will go into, and by mid way through our stay we were very happy. We initially booked the Sunny Beachfront bungalow via Agoda. This...

At the Southwest of Libong Island so it is a great quiet place to spot sunset. But rocky & not-so clean (trash comes with tides) make it not truly pleasant to swim or walk along the beach. Resort is clean and comfort with decent amenities e.g. cloth rack, shampoo & soap, water heater, nice bed & pillows. Owner & staff...

Libong Sunset is truly a wonderful place to stay. The owner Tookie is friendly, funny and very helpful. Faruk was the young man working while she went to the mainland and he too was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean, cute and well equipped. The food is delicious and there are lots of places on the big deck...

What a wonderful place this is. The whole island is a paradise amongst overcrowded beaches of Thailand. Very few tourists - hardly any restaurants, shops or bars on the island. Sunset resort has a own beach where you can relax and enjoy the magnificent view (and of course the sunsets). Beach is not really suited for swimming but for relaxing...

We spent 3 lovely days here after travelling round Thailand for 6 weeks and this was one of the most relaxing and welcoming place so far. The owner and staff were faultless and really thoughtful. The accomodation was very clean with small touches we haven't seen in Thailand. It is still a quiet and unspoilt island which is very difficult...
