The good - nice little location right on the beach. Amazing sunsets from here, easy to get to. The terrible - this place has so much potential but the owner has let it rot, I understand that a resort needs a lot of maintenance but this place has not been touched in a long time. The wooden walk ways around and the rooms are just totally worn and there is rubbish and other items left all over the landscapes. Air con hardly gets cold, shower was a dribble, ceiling was rotting and stained, left over old soap bar in the room from the last 4 guests I imagine. TV channels rubbish and signal is not existent. Check in was strange as I had pre paid but they couldn’t find the payment so they wanted me to pay again. The old manager on arrival was not helpful at all. Got to the room, asked for ice, the luggage guy said “we don’t have ice”, after some negotiation he got ice from the bar for 50baht. Asked about WiFi, he said, I doubt the WiFi will reach to the rooms. Bfast was included but we decided not to risk it and just checked out. The whole place could be premium but it needs a lot of work, new management and total turn around of service culture, and a capital injection. Something to think about after covid passes.

Remembering vouchers for the breakfast buffet and fighting for a spot by the pool - good thing this hotel is located by a beautiful beach with crystal clear waters. Absolutely amazing! The rooms are bland and with no decor so we didn’t feel very much at home. We had our towels changed every day because they starting smelling after the first use. The staff was very helpful when the safety deposit box wasn’t working in our room (we apparently couldn’t use the digits 1,4 and 7 in our code). The food at the restaurant was great but the price wasn’t - so we had lunch in walking distance at ‘Auntie Tode’ (best Thai food) every day instead.

I stayed in the beach front room. The room was light and airy with a great sea view. You can walk directly onto the beach from the room. Those are the positive. Now everything else.. The hotel WiFi doesn’t really work anywhere. The air conditioning in the room didn’t work properly. The cleaners more moved things about rather than cleaned. The lock on my door didn’t work properly. Their solution to this was to show me how to open the door by wiggling it about for 5 minutes rather than fixing it! The biggest issue has to be the staff. They’re all very nice but don’t seem to know what they’re doing. Anything you ask for, including getting the bill in the restaurant, just takes ages. The staff stand around chatting with each other and basically ignore you. If they simply trained their staff this would be a much better resort. There are many better places to stay on long beach and at a better price.

I write this review to help people make a better choice. My partner and I came here today, we went and had lunch within the resort and the food was rubbish it was cold and my partner ordered this Thai dish and it have nothing about it on the menu we asked if there was and coriander in it they said no, bit when it came out it was full. The next bad this is that there is no wi-fi in out room and the air-conditioning is that bad. So my stay here was not a very pleasant one, bit the beach or beautiful and so is the pool. But you want to sleep in comfort.

The resort was fair. Value for money. I hate it though when people stand up early in the morning to put their towel on a sunbed to make a reservation and come to the pool somewhere around noon. Too bad there weren’t sunbeds on the beach. The beach is very nice by the way. The tables in the restaurant were sticky and dirty. A bit too much TUI for me.
