I was scouting for a room with a view after arriving in Koh Lanta and chanced upon Nakara. They gave us (me, my wife and 3yrold son) a great rate since it was the low season... even better than what they post on their site! And we loved the place! They have a separate baby pool, with a baby-safe partition...

Nice and quiet hotel just by the beach. Amazing drinks in the bar and magical sunsets every night. Good standards on the bungalow and a small but nice pool. We ate at the restaurant a couple of times and the food was pretty good.

We have just got back from a lovely stay here for a week, following a trip around Thailand. This was the most amazing place to stay, really friendly, the bungalows are very clean, they make different animals out of your towels every day, you can eat your breakfast and dinners right on the beach front. Lovely local people more than...

Nakara Resort is in a great location but that is all I have to say about it. We paid around $100 (US) for the resort for two days. The rooms are very dirty and are falling apart. We stayed in one of the bungalows and there was mold on the ceiling as well as dirty floors and dirty sheets. We...

Stayed 3 nights at Nakara at Long Beach. This is a pretty big bungalow village - very quiet and right on the Long beach. Two pool areas - one with the restaurant and one 50 meters south (this is more quiet). Bungalows is standard by thai measures - no frills but works fine. Beach side bungalows looks very nice but...

I don't know what others are complaining about. We stayed 7 nights at Nakara and I have nothing to complain. We had a superior bungalow and it was clean and cosy. Sure it was little (only little) outdated but so what, it's NOT a 5 star resort!!! Breakfast was very good with different kind of breads, three kinds of eggs,...

My expectations were quite low from reading the other reviews, but as my family and I got there, I was pleasantly surprised! We stayed there in February 2015 and had booked a superior bungalow. However we were upgraded as we got there and received two deluxe bungalows. These bungalows were not at all as bad as the reviews say. They...

We stayed 8 nights at Nakara and have very mixed feelings about the resort. Since we paid a premium rate we were expecting premium service & facilities. First of all , we are slightly biased as we don not particularly like big resorts and Nakara IS big , but the perfect location and unavailability of our favourite places on Lanta...

Upon arrival we were given a twin bed room instead of a double that we had paid for. They said they didnt have any at that time. Fair enough and we weren't too bothered at that moment. The next day when we politely asked if they had any double bed rooms, the receptionist pulled out terms&conditions etc when all we...
