Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

We stayed here two nights. It’s a lovely place, a little eclectic and the netter for it. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. The communal tea/coffee area great to sit with others. Close to most of what you’ll want to see in the area

We stayed one night in one of the two family rooms, at a stone’s throw away from the main building with the reception area. The room was fabulously decorated and although we hadn’t booked any breakfast we got this nice bag with cake and mini bananas in front of our door the next morning. We are a couple with a nine year old daughter, and the issue was that in the room next to us there was a bunch of Spanish youngsters who came in late, probably after a few Singhas, Changs or Leos, and with these paper thin walls they sounded like they were sitting and shouting next to our beds, so unfortunately we had to bang the wall at some point and ask them to stop, which they did. Decent lads, we’ve all been that age, right?

We really enjoyed our stay at Goodmorning by Tamarind in Ayutthaya. We stayed in the family room in the guesthouse and it was very spacious with a tiny patio and a garden for the kids to play in. Some reviewers complained of noise but our stay was completely quiet- no noise at all! There is some wear and tear in the bathroom is dated, but that is as to be expected in an old teak building and everything was very clean and comfortable. Management was very kind and helpful, and the location was convenient. Just a 10 minute walk to the ruins and a great night market.

Lovely guesthouse. So welcoming as soon as you walk in - they have bamboo trees growing inside! The rooms are spacious and have decent furniture, and the beds are comfortable. The place looks lovely (very colourful) and at breakfast time there is free tea, coffee, bananas, bread, jam...it's pretty amazing. There is also bicycle rental. The only downside is that there seems to be a bar nearby that plays a lot of loud music until late at night. It's pretty inescapable, even with earplugs.

First thing to know, it’s next to club that ‘can’ play loud music. Do not let that put you off as it does not happen every night. We stayed here with three small children, it’s clean, it’s safe, it has aircon, It has bikes, hot showers and great staff. This is an ideal location and offers great service.

I have just stayed here for 2 nights and it was a very pleasant experience. I am a solo female traveller and I found no problems at all. The staff are helpful and the idea of free all day coffee/bananas/cookies is very useful and thoughtful. Aircon worked well as did bathroom stuff and the cleanliness of all areas and bed linen was excellent. I walked to nearby parts of the Historical Park and took the 200 baht evening river trip which I recommend. I would come here again and would recommend it to friends old, young and those with kids.

We arrived early from Bangkok, just before an impressive thunder and lighting storm. Given tea and biscuits while we waited at the main hostel while our chalet was readied; flash packers not back packers, older. Ready before 12:00, excellent position for walking to most of the Wat's, but you can get tuk-tuks on the corner, most things are between 50 & 60 baht within the river surroundings or you can hire bicycles and they have good cycle paths, a little bumpy in places which you share with elephants occasionally. For extras there is an 7/11 at the end of the Road. The room can be made up every day clean towels water and of course our sets us up for the day with a Thai breakfast. We have booked trips, just got back from the evening river trip visiting 3 more Wat's the other side of the river only 200 baht each, but you will need another 70 baht to enter these or stay on the boat. There are other trips they can organise, arrange taxis and tuk-tuk's. Our hostess has really looked after us, she's pointed us to some great restaurants and taken a lot of hassle out of our holiday. Going back to Bangkok tomorrow by taxi, cheaper than 1st class train. Map provided by hostel good for immediate area, watch out for tourists maps going outside city limits, shows you the direction not the distance; Bang Pa-In Summer Palace 300 baht 30 minutes out, well worth a visit. We had our own shower, family room, fridge, microwave and a/c planning to be back next year.

I can highly recommend staying in Goodmorning by Tamarind, me and my boyfriend loved our three nights there. The common area is nice and there is coffee, tea and bananas free of charge. We had superior king room and it was beautifully decorated, big, clean and cozy. The bigger rooms are in a different building than smaller rooms and reception, further down the small road so it was very quiet in there. Location is also very good, only 10 minute walk from historical park. Only small con is that the walls are thin, so you can hear talking in the next rooms quite clearly. Us it didn’t bother because guests in other two rooms were quiet during night time.

Location is perfect. 15 min walk or 5 min bike ride to Historical Park w all the major Wats. Good restaurants within 10 min walk. Quietly located on small residential alley off of main road. Rent a bike for 50 baht and go everywhere. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Bath is decent size, well lit and great hot shower. For budget travellers, can't go wrong.
