We stayed at the resort in one of the pool villas for an extended weekend. The villas are spacious and very nicely decorated, each in its own style.
Ours had its balcony toward East, atop of the fish pond, which made a wonderful setup for a morning coffee (espresso machine dolce gusto in the room!). Some of the pool villas have an outdoor shower (private/closed of course) - you would have to ask for a room with it.

The staff was super super helpful and friendly, assisting us in whatever we required.
The restaurant with its open terrace is a wonderful setting for breakfast (bacon / ham and eggs, sausages, toast, marmalade, or Thai breakfast if you want) as well as for dinner.
Food quality / taste was amazing.

The whole setup is tranquil, the trees amazing (next to our villa was one in full blossom, inviting dozens of dozens of butterflies swarming up and down). Next to the restaurant there is a very cozy area with tables, chairs, benches and a swing under the tall trees.
The spa was unfortunately closed during our stay but it would be reopened soon.

Whenever we will come back to Ayutthaya, we will stay at Pludhaya again - next time we will opt for the suite version, on the other side of the resort, overlooking the fields.

The setup is amazing but the hospitality of the team there made our stay truly enjoyable!

The hotel is very nice and well decorated. It gives us a good feeling like we live in Ayudhaya era. We have a great time there and my kids really like swimming pool and the rice field. The hotels also have Buffaloes which entertain my kids during the stay. “ Drip Rim Na”, a hotel cafe, closed to the rice field also serves very nice coffee. You can also enjoy the message at the hotel with the affordable price. We will definitely visit you again.

The biggest asset here were the staff - everyone was so pleasant and friendly. The place is somewhat isolated but only a short trip by tuk tuk from town. We were the only guests there at the time and the evening menu was very limited though what was served was well presented and tasty. Breakfast also needs a bit of work. The rooms and surroundings were very pleasant and the property has a good pool.

Just wonderful people with great food in a quiet area set in a perfect spot for great scenery of rice fields, in a perfect Thai bungalow. Front desk will help with all your needs. The pool is just right after a day of seeing ruins of the ancient city.

I booked the room for my short holiday trip. First I called to the hotel and spoke to one of the ladies at the reception. She was very polite and has a charming tone of voice. Until I arrived to the resort and the staff was standing in front of my car for asking any assistance for the luggage and bags.
The staff escorted us to the room where was facing the field where there is a breeze from the field all night long. It was so romantic. The breakfast experience was great with the delicious food.

The Pludhaya Resort is owned by the owner of the surrounding rice fields who employs a lovely family to run it. The staff were extreme nice, friendly and very accommodating.

This is a very small boutique hotel, a cluster of 9 guest houses and therefore very quiet. 6 of the Thai style houses are on stilts and face a large central pool with a fountain and goldfish. Ours was one of three with a balcony overlooking the lake and it's entrance also faced a small but perfect swimming pool, as did 4 of the other dwellings. Floating here early morning and evening, listening to the bird calls was so relaxing.

The hotel rooms are surrounded by a small, neat and slightly eclectic garden, with many Thai style ornaments. Although the oath was well lit, a member of staff guided to your room by torchlight after supper.

The room had a kind sized double bed, walk in shower, separate toilet facilities, fridge, TV, Wifi.

As this is a small establishment the restaurant had limited hours and a limited choice of food. What was on offer was very good though. On our first evening we opted to risk mosquitoes by eating lake side, as the small indoor dining area was full and even though the obliging staff had set us a table inside, it was in front of a huge digital TV with a football match playing, in front of all the other diners. Not my idea of a pleasant meal. We weren't bothered by mosquitoes either. Breakfast was held in the same area with a limited but adequate choice.

The hotel is a little way out of tourist sites but as we had a tour guide and driver this was not a problem and The Pludhaya proved a lovely, peaceful place to stay and a great base for exploring Ayutthaya and area

I stayed with my family.
It was lovely. The staff were very friendly. We had free ride , to and fro , into the city. Since it was off season, right after the New Year, the night we arrived the kitchen was closed. The drove us to the nearest restaurant, which was excellent.
Each room was a separate bungalow. They were very well appointed to look " Thai" but with modern amenities.
After a hectic week in Bangkok, this was a great relaxing few days.
Definitely going back!!

Stayed there for 2 nights and enjoyed every moment. Very nice resort with warm and welcoming staff. Rooms have very nice private balconies to enjoy the view and the nature. Very nice infinity pool offering a nice view while relaxing. Restaurant was very nice with a nice selection of traditional Thai food. Staff was extremely friendly and smiling, truely attentive to our needs.

We stayed here for 1 night but enjoyed it a lot. The service is very hospitable and friendly. The hotel is beautiful, the outside of the rooms are painted in orange and they're surrounding the pond with lots of koi fish and the rooms are nice and comfortable.

My friends enjoyed the sticky rice for breakfast a lot.

There needs to be something special to attract tourists out of the town but our experience wasn't special. I did not receive a reply to my internet booking request (they promise 24 hour response but I'm still waiting) so I had to telephone, on the day, to check if accommodation was available, they dealt with my 'phone call efficiently but didn't apologise for not replying.
Arrival and check in was a very average experience - there is a lack of warmth and enthusiasm although the staff were always helpful and friendly when asked. A photographic souvenir and help across the road from the car park are nice touches and being escorted to your room by torchlight after dark is quite sweet.
The resort is attractive - most rooms located around a lagoon - it just lacks sparkle - our room was nicely decorated and the bathroom (toilet and wash basin, seperate shower) was okay, not luxurious. The beds were very, very, comfortable.
Breakfast was disappointing - little choice - one waiter who was not welcoming, did not see a need to clear the table or ask if we would like more coffee.
We can only class our stay as "okay" there is lots of potential to make this place very special but it needs that "sparkle" and a review of customer expectations.
Final judgement.: We will visit Ayutthaya several times in the coming years, will we stay at Pludhaya? I'm afraid not.
